Before I bite the bullet what do people reckon about Dzekos possibilities of a game on Tuesday.
100% guarantee ya he won't play at all on Tuesday :-D

I think he might play. But I wouldn't be transferring him in. I already have him and I'd be hopeful rather than confident that he'll start again weds, it's not as if he needs a rest. Yaya and Fernandinho are likely to be the "2" and the 4 will be any 4 from Nasri, Milner, Navas, Negredo and Dzeko imo.

I think Dzeko will start on Wednesday. Adebayor is at Old Trafford. You have made wiser decisions in your time than to make that transfer.

Can I ask what makes you think that? Have City not being played 1 lone striker since Aguero went off?

I naively assumed he had his chance this week and Negredo will be back as the lone striker.

You have a point Danger. Dzeko & Negredo started the game after Aguero's injury, Dzeko taken off early in the second half. Silva backed up Negredo against Liv and Dzeko against Pulis. Garcia may even keep his place and Yaya pushed further forward behind a lone striker against swansea. We don't know but I'll take another punt on Dzeko I think.

I brought dzeko in as a one week punt and was going to bench him this week and get rid with the wildcard. However with silvas suspension his chances of starting have increased so Ill start him. City will either stay 4231 and play navas, nasri and milner behind negredo or go 442 with dzeko playing instead of milner. They started off 4 4 2 against fulham the other week with both dzeko and negredo up top. There is a fair chance of a 15 minute cameo.

ye the yaya one is a definite option hadnt considered that. They may well but an extra body in midfield to deal with swanseas possession game.

I have Dzeko as it is, just wondering do I stick with Ward-Prowse in my midfield versus Chelsea or take a 4 point hit and get rid of Dzeko for someone 7.6 or less that has a more likely chance of a full game...?

On the other hand, the Yaya/Fernandinho partnership has been immense and Pelligrini will want to continue the run of wins. If Silva was available I''d be transferring Dzeko defo but not sure tbh, may sleep on it and wait til I hear more.

What's the rest of your team? You have a wild card coming up so do you really need to take -4..

Any more word on Rooney being available for spurs game, or on Morrisons situation at West Ham.

if Rooney's out and Ravel doesn't return to the fold I'll be a bit short.

Would transferring mignolet out for szcezesny be a good shout?

What are the chances of Hazard being rested on Wednesday ?
    1. Certain (he won't even travel) ?
    2. High (benched, may not even come in if things are going well for Chelsea) ?
    3. Medium (benched, he'll play a good 30 min in the second half) ?
    4. Low (he'll start and make way around the 60 min mark) ?
    5. Non-existent (everything good Chelsea does come through him so he'll play except if injured)

Team without making the Demel to Sagna transfer with a -4 hit.

Bought in Koscielny for McCauley. Wanted Per but am lacking the funds. That's it for my transferring for a bit, I think. Team's in alright shape, though Mig will be getting the boot soon.

JWP will most likely not start against Chelsea, Dzeko 60/40 (imo)

Rooney still on track for New Years Day, and RVP back in training. Interesting. If only his price had fallen properly, at around 13 or less he'd be a very tempting differential if fit.

Ozil out for anyone and probably Ravel for a hit too to field a midfield with Silva suspended.

I have a little time to think about this one at least.

What's annoying me is that he'll rise tonight...
I'd have loved to have another day to ponder over it.

The thing is I may want to get in an Arsenal defender too.
Team is a little depleted at the moment. Morrisson (WH) out, Rooney doubtful, Silva suspended (whom I'd got rid for Hazard), Shelvey useless and badly managed (should have gotten rid when he was £5.7m (for a £0.2m profit) even for a hit), Chester not an option away to Liverpool and Dawson the likeliest to make way.

I guess I may already decide if I play my WC after next GW or for GW 23...

    - edit -

Bottled it again with price changes timing...

It would have made for a very interesting second half of the season if he hit some form.

Mert could well be rested for the Cardiff game

Is he not vorsprung durch technik though. There could indeed be rotation in the Arsenal back line as you suggest.

Silva to Cazorla for the week is tempting, especially now with Ozil out. Morrison to Sterling would probably be the sensible transfer but Sterling may not start.

Sterling is a nailed on starter at least until Sturridge comes back

I don't really mind if one of my starting 11 doesn't start on Wednesday. I have Gabbidon who faces Norwich (H) as my first sub. The problems begin if two players are injured/rested...

You can call me crazy but just watched the extended highlights of Hull-Fulham game, and was impressed with Tom Huddlestone performance. They have tough fixtures coming with Liverpool away and Chelsea at home. They fail to produce at home but I rather have him than Oviedo. Oviedo out, Huddlestone in. The guy had some power shots from long range, so here is a hope he can score 1 against Liverpool or Chelsea.
With Silva ban this will leave me with an nusual combo of midfielders - Huddlestone, Bannan, Walcott and Hazard. No point in selling Silva for 1 week, so he stays on bench.

They've played that with Silva behind when they did, and they played them both against Fulham. With no Silva it stands to reason they would play 2

I was thinking about Negredo in for Lukaku. However, City have a fairly hectic January with the Carling Cup semi finaks so I think I'm going to hold off after Lukaku returned to scoring yesterday.
