Hadn't enough to do Ramsey to Walcott last night, .1 short, so did Ozil to Walcott. I'll see about Ramsey out before he drops, worth 6.5 to me with 3.5 in bank.

I've £2m in the bank and will probably do Nasri to Silva if they both perform as expected today. Will leave me with £1m which will go towards upgrading Vlaar.

My back line is Coleman, Mert, Chester and Gabbidon, so could do with a 'big' 5th defender that would play most weeks. Looking at Debuchy or possibly Kolorov (if he nails down a spot). £5.4m to work with, anyone I'm missing? Avoiding United.

I am looking to get rid of Barkley or Morrison. Sterling or Januzi to come in. Will watch all 4 closely before deciding and hope that suspension or injury do not force my hand elsewhere.

7 points in his last 8 games! He's actually one of the worst choices, although I see where you're coming from. I considered Spurs but like United they are just too leaky atm.

I have 1.5 mil banked and will be using every penny of it practically to go Lukaku, worth 8.4 to me, to Negredo, presently 9.8.

Will see if Lukaku can earn himself a reprieve tomorrow first though.

oscar to silva and then its wildcard time.

Just realised I can afford another Arsenal defender. They have some cracking fixtures coming up, I don't mind doubling up as I already have Mertesacker. The question is, Sagna or Gibbs?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Probably just going to do Morrison to Sterling as a one week punt before the wildcard.

wont be that move see you in the wildcard silva

I've 3m in the bank. WC just around the corner so there'll be no hits.
I'll either upgrade a defender to Evans or Nastasic or finally take my 0.2m loss on Jedinak and get in Sterling.

Silva suspended means Bannan out for Sterling to give me 3-4-3.

I will most likely WC pretty early top balance my team a bit better, my subs are poor and need improving on.

Vlaar to Sagna transfer done. Will hold off on Nasri to Silva as he's now suspended. Happy with my team for next week, doubling up on Everton and Arsenal defenders! Gabbidon is a decent first sub too, every chance of a clean sheet against Norwich.

Think I'll hold Silva as I don't hav enough for Yaya and already have Walcott. Might just do Brady to Sterling (home to Hull)

Moyes on Wayne Rooney: "He has an adductor injury to his groin. It's not serious and I think he'll be fit for New Year's Day. Ideally we'd have given him 2 or 3 weeks to recover completely. But he has been so influential for the team."

Need some advice, already have Mannone who is the better option to compliment him, Marshall or McGregor?

    Where to Start :(

Looking at Morrison out for Henderson

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

Had 5 players unavailable/doubtful for the next set of games so did Vlaar/Morrison out and McCartney/Sterling in. Cant wait for the wildcard.

WC to be activated as soon as game will allow me after the 11.30 deadline on NYD. Until then just Bacuna for someone.

    3 options.

Morrison to 6.2m mid and bench Silva
Silva to Yaya or other 10m mid till wildcard. Want silva longterm but would only cost me 0.2 to buy back.
Dawson to sagna and double up on Arsenal like Busts playing 433 next week.

Leaning towards 3, not much to choose from under 6.1m.

Am I right that the WC cannot be activated before the next GW?

Why is Howard still showing up as suspended for next week, thought he only misses one game? I'm assuming FPL won't update until after tomorrow's matches.

Probably until Everton play, he will be shown as suspended.
Ramsey out for Yaya this week.

Is there anybody in midfield under 6.1 worth looking at for a couple of weeks does anybody reckon?

    Sterling?

    Possibly, good fixtures too.

Still probably safer to double on Arsenal defence with their fixtures.....

His red flag should be taken away tomorrow after Everton play . That's what happened with Valencia & Turner today . It will stop him dropping in price tomorrow also and stop him rising or dropping for 8 days after.

Not paying enough attention over the Xmas and now I have just noticed I lost 0.5m on that donkey pantillimon, absolutely raging.

There are encouraging noises coming from Villa Park that Vlaar will be fit for Sunderland on New Years day, I only mention because somebody with huge injury problems seems to have used a transfer to drop him on the last page, he may not be a priority if he's playing but he does have two hard fixtures after Sunderland

I got rid last night with my free transfer - he was about to drop again and was knocking me out of the £5.4m bracket for a defender. Villa are muck at the back anyway. Brought it Sagna and will look to double up on both Arsenal (Mert + Sagna) and Everton (Howard + Coleman) defenders over the next few weeks. A risky move but their fixtures are great:

    Arsenal - Cardiff(H), Villa(A), Fulham(H), Southampton(A), Palace(H)
    Everton - Stoke(A), Norwich(H), West Brom (A), Liverpool(A), Villa (H)

Just one bad fixture in 10 there, week 23 for Everton who face Liverpool. I would swap Howard for Mannone who plays Stoke(H) that week. Probably still play Coleman for attacking threat. Barring injury or major malfunction I'll use my wildcard at the end of January to swap out Howard and Sagna and possibly Mertesacker, as both teams have a tough February.

    This plan could spectacularly backfire.

if ozil was rested and not injured today. I'll probably do oscar to Ozil. Playing wildcard straightaway so its all about getting in the best one week option.

Everton have had nice fixtures for a while now (FUL, SWA, SUN last 3) which I doubled up on - haven't kept a clean sheet at all tho,

They've been unlucky, only conceding one goal per game and last week was a penalty. Even with an extra man Sunderland couldn't score in open play. With Howard and Baines back I can see them tightening up.

Silva to Cazorla for the week is tempting, especially now with Ozil out. Morrison to Sterling would probably be the sensible transfer but Sterling may not start.

Wenger has said Ozil will miss 2 or 3 games with a shoulder injury, might get Cazorla in or go for Coutihno.

I'm thinking Dzeko out Wellbeck in and Nasri out and Walcott in.

Going to sort out my defence with the wild card

I'm going to have to bring in 2 mids for Ozil and Ravel for -4 this week unless I play Ben Turner and Williams against Arsenal and City respectively.

Another set of 1 week gambles and then that wildcard

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,798 ✭✭✭Mr. Incognito

    Ozil out for Walcott.

Will look at getting him back in with wildcard,

I want a front three of Rooney, Augerio and Suarez for the rest of the year with Wally and Ozil in midfield.

Looks like Jagielka's been downgraded to 25% chance of playing so have to check who I'll get in. Might be worth a punt on a differential player for a couple of weeks until the wildcard.

Happened just like I said . No fear of him going up or down in price till the 6th of January now .

Morrison out, Sterling in for me once he doesn't get hurt in the next 20 mins.

Fook it, went with the safe option and brought in Zabaletta.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,230 ✭✭✭qwabercd

Will be doing a one week punt before my wildcard. THink I will do Ravel to Brunt. Leaves me with Marshall in goals away to Arsenal so maybe I would be better off doing myhil to 5m goalie with a decent fixture. Other option is to do Silva to someone like Cazorla but I will have to get in Silva at 0.2m higher and will lose 0.1m on Ravel too. I'm already scrimping on my desired wildcard team.

Ozil out for Walcott . Which I expect will be one of the most popular transfers this week .
