Might give the multiplayer another go this weekend. Found it very tough last time i played it. Has anyone any tips of how to start off with it, any do's and dont's

Also where do you download the new maps from. Can you do it from the ps app or the psn store?

Its open week until the 12th of march thats why Killzone is showing as free.

Honestly, its such a disappointment, that game.I loved all the others including PSP and it was very good on the Vita, but SF is all over the place. It was always such a good alternative to CoD. First 3 or 4 chapters in SF are a lesson in patience. Can't complain for a Euro though, I suppose.

When they had a free weekend over christmas I got both the multiplayer and single player for free.

I feel the same. Loved them all, bar the very first Killzone, which I thought was just ok. The campaign on the Vita one is probably a good bit better than the SF campaign, which as you were saying, drags. I think the KZ2 was the best of the lot. Decent SP and fantastic MP.

i traded in killzone 2 days after launch because i needed the money for need for speed and that its a crap game. but for 1 euro, i will happily play the singleplayer. wont go near multiplayer again though

Downloaded the new maps from console myself but sure you can purchase and queue them from the web store.

regards MP tips: obviously you're going to get roasted until you know the maps and where opposition are coming from. avoid the temptation to rush forward with everyone else. It is run and gun but there's plenty of opportunity for flanking so try hang back and cover your team-mates backs you'll get plenty of kills that way starting off. Assault class has a shield that is useful when starting off too. gives you the edge in gun battles while you get used to controls. Stun ability is also useful if you're like me and panic in close quarters situations and has the added bonus of disabling any close by enemy hardware. Assault guns are probably best option for the class first two are SMG's third n fourth are fairly similar spec go for either of them. Shotty for assault class is not great.

Has anyone else experienced random sound cuts? Audio just stops and the console requires a reset. Have experienced it across multiple games and apps, two or three times this week (only a couple of times prior to that).

Happened to me a number of times over the recent weeks, generally seems to be when I'm watching something on Netflix or Hulu.

No real rhyme or reason as to how it happens on mine - have only got it once on Netflix I think. Lot of people seem to be having the problem with the NBA game.

Hopefully it will be sorted out by a firmware upgrade.
