    Ground Zeroes preview
Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is the best, most expensive demo ever made

Pretty sure after reading that I won't be shelling out 35 quid on it.

Hopefully with Amy Hennig gone from Naughty Dog we may see a reboot of Legacy of Kain :D

Sounds like they simply took the first mission of the full game and threw it on disc hoping to generate a little cash. It sounds like the kind of thing that will be picked up fir under €5 after a few months and there's no way I could justify paying over that for it.

No one died here and even if they did then asking the status of a project the deceased was involved in is just human nature. It doesn't make anyone self cantered or any nonsense like that.

Obviously no one died, but even when they do like with Brian Wood from Relic you get it; also self centred is human nature.

I don't see how it's self centred. When a film star dies mid production we all wonder what happens to it. It's just human nature and curiosity. Nothing morbid or wrong about it.

IMO if you are announcing that a person has left the company, you do just that. A separate announcement should be made later to clarify the state of whatever projects might be affected.

I know I might be in the minority here but the way they have done it (and they are not alone in that regard) just comes off as cold to me - as if the affect on the project is more important than the loss of talent involved.

I'm really going to struggle to not buy MGS: Ground Zeros.

I'm tempted to create a US PSN and buy it off the store there.

As you can tell from my username, there won't be a struggle in my case. I will simply click the Purchase button as soon as it is available.

Keeps crashing for me at the end of a mission, and if anyone quits out of the game or I get disconnected.

Looks like the PS3, PS4 and PC versions of the game will be getting a Deluxe Edition, it is also gonna be cross-buy on the Playstation. Personally I cannot wait for the this, it looks fantastic and the graphics are beautiful, with any hope the gameplay will match up to it, the combat is a mix between Grandia and FF's old ATB system

London, UK – March 5th, 2014 – Today, Ubisoft announced that Child of Light, the poetic turn-based RPG that will release digitally on April 30th, 2014, will also be available the same day in retail as a Deluxe Edition on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and on Windows® PC. This Deluxe Edition is available for pre-orders right now and will be available in the UK and other EMEA territories only.

The Child of Light Deluxe Edition will contain exclusive content, including a poster designed by Yo****aka Amano, the renowned Japanese artist, a 24 page art book with unrevealed artwork and an Igniculus key ring. This boxed edition will also include additional game content, with a bonus quest, a new character and a pack of collectibles.

Additionally, the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of the game, both in retail and digital, will benefit from the cross-buy option. Therefore, players buying Child of Light on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 will be able to play the game on both platforms at no additional cost.

Child of Light is created by a small team of seasoned developers based in Ubisoft Montreal. It has been developed on Ubisoft’s UbiArt Framework, a powerful engine that lets programmers and artists bring their art to life by allowing original concept art to be inserted unedited into the game world. In Child of Light, the effect is akin to stepping into an interactive painting.

Child of Light is a reimagining of classic fairytales, inviting players on an epic adventure into the magical painted world of Lemuria. Players will uncover mysteries, participate in turn-by-turn combat inspired by classic JRPGs, and explore a mystical kingdom. The game puts players in the shoes of Aurora, a child stolen from her home, who, in her quest to return, must bring back the sun, the moon and the stars held captive by the Queen of the Night. Helped by her companion Igniculus the firefly and several unlikely allies, Aurora will face her darkest fears, including dragons and other mystical creatures, in this modern take on a coming-of-age story.

The game will be available for download on Xbox LIVE for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, the eShop from Nintendo for the Wii U, and PC Digital, at the price of £11.99.

    New co-op trailer as well

PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate Coming to PS4, PS Vita This Summer
    1. Full Visual Upgrade on PS4
When we were trying to decide what a PS4 version of Shooter should look like, we knew that it needed to remain true to that classic, razorsharp, vector-based aesthetic — which continually threw new ideas at the player — while still being able to stand besides modern PS4 games. From a gameplay perspective, we wanted to make combat more intense, engaging, and overall provide for a more rewarding experience.
So, we decided to introduce real-time environment lighting, along with a host of new visual FX for things like projectiles, explosions, thrusters, and more. And it didn’t stop there — we’ve also worked on making the fluids look even better by increasing the resolution of the particles, improving shaders, and adding anti-aliasing to the edges of the fluids. We’ve also revisited the color palette, and color grading has been added to every scene, which hopefully makes it look and feel more immersive.

    2. A Redesigned Ship on PS4
Something that a lot of people loved about the ship in Shooter 1 and 2 was the way it managed the relationship between momentum and resistance to changes in motion. This is not something we wanted to mess with, but we did want to improve the visual feedback to the player, to make that relationship more accessible.
To achieve this, we decided to introduce a 3D ship, which allowed us to add animations for aeronautical maneuvering that gives better visual feedback. The ship is also treated to the newly introduced real-time lighting, as well as the other visual improvements.

    3. 60 Frames-per-second on PS4
For the uninitiated, higher frame rates capture much more of the action every second, so there’s much less opportunity for action to blur when you’re in the thick of it. Behind the scenes, our physics and fluid dynamics simulations also run at 60 FPS, meaning that the game is more responsive to how the player interacts with the various environments. It also improves on the control feedback and responsiveness.

    4. Awesome Environments on PS Vita
One of the most understated aspects of the Shooter series of games was the highly complex fluid simulation. Most of the puzzles in the game require the manipulation of various fluids (water, lava, magnetic fluid, acid), each of which are made from several thousand particles to get the simulation looking perfect.
The computational power to run this has even given some quad-core PC processors issues, so bringing this game to a portable handheld was always going to be a major challenge. This has all been made possible thanks to some excellent research and development by our team, and we’re really excited that we can bring this experience to PS Vita.

    5. One Seamless Experience
PixelJunk Shooter introduced us to the Yellow Dart, and its mission to save trapped scientists. PixelJunk Shooter 2 picks up exactly where the first left off. In PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate, you can enjoy an uninterrupted and complete experience, with all the new features introduced in Shooter 2 — such as the super spin — across all chapters.

Is it worth importing a PS4 from the US? They cost $399 which is about E290 atm. What's the story with power adapters, game regions customs etc?

You will get done in by customs and Sony will not provide any sort of warranty coverage should something go wrong with the hardware.

Full game of killzone SF unlocking for buying the 99cent player pack. Worked for me there. Obvious glitch, but they might not remove the game from your account. Worth a punt for less than a quid. Apparently they didnt remove the game from accounts when the same thing happened with uncharted golden abyss a while back.

P&P costs and customs if they catch you....

I was done by customs a few times... they charged me 23% tax for a work of art when it should only have been 13%...no come-back....they are a law unto themselves....

I got the Killzone Mega Bundle, but did not really care for SF, so traded it into Gamestop and got NBA 2k14 for €20 the next day. I can confirm that the single player of SF is working, so €1 well spent so far :D although it will probably be locked in the morning :(

If this works and isn't locked in the morning great I will trade in my physical copy of KZ:SF. Awesome find thanks if I could thanks it more than once I would.

Maybe not. I remember a similar thing happened with killzone 3 and the DLC was free. They just said they were lucky and left it unlocked

Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer goes free for a week on March 3, I did not know they were doing this again, but it might be why you can get it for free, might be a glitch due to this.

This happened before with Uncharted Golden Abyss, and it was left unlocked on accounts that bought it for cheap, permanently.

    Nice one. I wouldn't mind re-assessing KZSF :)
