Paddy Powers ugly mug has just greeted me in the local shop, a "bumper" offer at 5.30

If it's him showing naked selfies then I'm never coming back

    Why?

Ladbrokes have moved their lines on the draft. McCarron now over/under 55.5 & Michael Sam 83.5

They must only check their liabilities on minor markets once a day or something, they took at least a few K on McCarron & that's just from people I know who backed it

McCarron line still looks ludicrously low but needless to say not as ridiculous as the opening 39.5

I got a monkey on (well €250 twice). One lad told me he got a decent bet on in a shop (clamped online). He never defined "decent" but he's a far bigger punter than me

Very rare I use it but Sportingbet must be the slowest site on the net

I got nearly 1k on across 3 different shops. Clamped too online. Cheers colonel!

I'm shocked it lasted so long, remember trying to get 100 quid on a politics bet at 3/1 in a shop a while back

The girl had to put it through in units of €25 and when the third one went in the market suspended

Ladbrokes minor markets are usually a joke for liquidity etc hence I was shocked, even a bit suspicious, over this. The line moving this morning is a bit of reassurance though!

Anyone been down to the Cottage Bar in Salthill?

Some of those specials are priced up all wrong. Remember for the local eletions a few years back one Sinn Fein fella was leading all the polls (surprisingly), Ladbrokes had him 1/8 to get a seat, PP had him 9/4. Had a nice win with that.

    Was there a punt?
Says he opened at 6/1 and was returned at 7/1.
Was he big this morning/last night?

They said on ATR he was backed before the race so yes, there must have been a punt (must be morning punt, maybe not huge prices ). That race he came out of this bumper has worked out extremely well http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/results/20-02-2013/doncaster/result/548357/32redpoker-com-standard-open-nh-flat-race

What to do. Have 8s Vautour, could lay off at 3s and break even if he loses or be greedy and keep my bet running

Nah, she won't trouble him. Fell into the trap of backing Crowley blind last week when he went over for one ride. No joy. Over for two tomorrow, neither of which looks likely.

Looks at at different thread there, anyone ever had the carvery in O' Gradys in Gort. Best grub I ever had. Always went there when I was going to Galway. #differentgravy

    I miss it dearly. :(

Have him doubled up with Carraig Mor pays just over 2/1. He won by 25 lengths on debut and the fellow who sold him to Barber said he is one of the best he ever had including Denman.
