Just had a few quid on Mc Coy to ride over 300 winners this season at 20/1, I am reckoning on all his training pals doing their best to let him retire with a bang.

Horrible value. The heartbreak of that target now being impossible is half the reason he's retiring.

Only had a few quid but would be surprised if they arent going to really help him go for it. If I am wrong there isnt a chance.

You'd be surprised if a number trainers didn't go out of their way to help AP get to 300???

    Normal service will just resume.

Do you not think a lot of trainers he has given big days to will try make his last season memorable.

Maybe.... but they all want as many winners as possible anyway!
He rides in every race possible sure so not many spares to pick up either..
    Good luck though!

No Sandown. Le Vant D'Antan was fatally injured the other day. A shame.

Ah yeah I know they do, could be few they werent planning running again that could trained up be sent out to help.

Cheers, I will need it, he will need about 12 winners a week. One thing I hadnt considered was he could go the other way and take it easy to ensure he gets out in one piece!!

I'm just after getting 18's with skybet. Not a big stake as I haven't looked at the race properly. Will have to wait til I sober up before I do or don't back it properly.

**** a duck, bought Michel Roux Jrs Classic French Cuisine, told the missus I would cook dinner tomorrow and asked her to pick out dinner.

She only picked out 7 hour cooked leg of lamb which needed marinading for a week first along with garlic potatoes and roast veg and a pear and almond tart. As if that isn't enough I was planning smoking pork shoulder, will do well to have the energy to eat the ****ing food :D

Cappa Bleu out tomorrow for a race he was 3rd off 147 in 2012, and 2nd of 145 in 2013.
Runs off 135 tomorrow, and looks worth a punt at 10/1

    Two hours of course

Trip to the butchers and supermarket
    Boning and scoring the lamb
Making the marinade for the lamb
Turning the leg of lamb a number of times a day
    Making the stock
    Making the pastry
Making, applying and reapplying the dry rub to the pork
    Prepping and poaching the pears
    Prep of all the veg
Cooking and topping up the lamb pot
Ensuring the temperature of the pork is not getting too hot too quick
    Keeping the woodchips topped up

Ah yeah two hours work, ffs
