He has to be asked to forgive people? Sounds like rubbing a genies lamp.

and he will tolerate unrepentent indefinite evil. Or is there an updated bible where he destroyed Satan and his minions?

Which God are you talking about.
After reading the God Delusion I was shocked at the chilling end the Abrahamic God gave people...
The pagan Gods were much tamer. ..

He has condemned Satan and his minions to hell for eternity.
He doesn't tolerate evil ... but He doesn't destroy it ... He just leaves it to its own devices.

Sounds like he is pretty insecure to me, kinda like the clingy girlfriend who keeps asking are you ok or who are you with.

Judge can't do that. They're a bit more restricted in the powers. Generally not allowed run amok like you suggest.

A Better question would be, would the Dr. have rescued Noah?

Like I have said, we don't know wheter children were present due to the carry-on of the Nephilim ... and if there were children, it is likely that they would receive better care in Heaven that in a society where wall-to-wall evil ruled supreme.
It's likely that the innocent children that your god murdered would receive better care in heaven than in the societies that your god obliterated? Likely, or it's absolutely definite that they would receive better care in a christian heaven?

Just wondering, as there may be some innocent children living in broken homes and evil societies that are worried about the christian god killing everyone again, but this time not with water, but lava, or low flying helium or something.

    Nope.

Your "God" expects people to pray to him...why? As Homer Simpson said i am a good father i work hard i love my family so why should I waste an hour of my day off to go to church just so some guy can tell me I am going to hell.

Your "God" wants people to ASK for forgiveness. ...why? Why can't he wait till they die and then let them ask him personally?

Your "God" is willing to forgive murderers, Rapists and even priests all they have to do is go to church and ask for forgiveness and that's it they have a golden ticket to heaven. Innocent children, babies animals and unborn fetus who CANNOT ask for forgiveness are drowned alive....yeah thats some loving "God" you worship

    Oh yes s/he can!!
Contempt of Court grants them wide powers ... and can result in an indefinite term in prison until you purge your contempt.

that's a different matter to 'giving them cheek'. and the contempt of court cannot be used to indefinitely, pretty sure there's a limit in years for how long you can be jailed for it.

Which still more reasonable than drowning everyone, much like your god did.

It was a turn of phrase ... Heaven would, of course, beat anything on this Earth ... but normally there is no rush to get there.

They don't need to worry, as long as there are good people around, like you and me.
... now when the Rapture occurs ... then all bets are off!!

Yeah, as long as there are at least two, or 8 good people, the christian god will never kill everyone else again... with water...

Most people don't push it that far ... and the threat of jail is enough for them to turn off their mobile phones in court!!!
... as contempt of court isn't codified, in theory somebody can stay in prison indefinitely unless they purge their contempt. Indeed they can also be kept in jail, even after they purge their contempt, if the judge so decides.

Really? Because the last time I checked the one sending plagues, killer angels or global floods was God. Satan seems to get a bad rep even though it's your god running amok through creation slaughtering people.

History is written by the victor though. I reckon way way back, like 6000 years ago, in a galaxy far far away, there was this great big battle between the forces of good and evil. On one side you had God and the rebel alliance, on the other Satan and the empire. Well we all know what happened to the empire dont we? So history gets changed and re written, painting satan and the empire as the bad guys when really they weren't at all. They just wanted to add some order to the chaos.

Pretty good account of what happened ... only Satan was and is the emperor of evil.
... and as any Satanist can confirm, he is a hard 'task master' ... and that is in this life ... where people can always defect to God.

Just imagine what he will do to anybody whose fate is sealed as one of his minions ... after death.

But the empire brought order and stability to an entire galaxy and the alliance comes along and f**ks it all up with everything descending into chaos within 20 years
. Bit like this god of yours, chaos reigns supreme; go ahead and murder/rape/torture each other, sure tis grand wont I forgive ya later on? And ya know what? I might even join in on it every so often myself, looks like fun!
And dont worry everbody, your all going to heaven anyway so relax and enjoy the swim (Well the believers anyway, the rest of you can f**k right off to satans gaff, the p***k)

Why is Satan made out to be the bad guy in the bible, when it's God doing all the killing and slaughtering? Genuine question.

This repeated accusation that God is a mass murderer is a confusion on your part

JC your delusion is best refuted thusly:
I was walking along the bank of a stream when I saw a mother otter with her cubs, a very endearing sight, I'm sure you'll agree. And even as I watched, the mother otter dived into the water and came up with a plump salmon, which she subdued and dragged onto a half submerged log. As she ate it, while of course it was still alive, the body split and I remember to this day the sweet pinkness of its roes as they spilled out, much to the delight of the baby otters, who scrambled over themselves to feed on the delicacy. One of nature's wonders, gentlemen. Mother and children dining upon mother and children. And that is when I first learned about evil. It is built into the very nature of the universe. Every world spins in pain. If there is any kind of supreme being, I told myself, it is up to all of us to become his moral superior.

You could do a lot worse than read his oeuvre, for example, read the bible.

Someone's already had a go at "fixing" the trailer (with added Language):

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

That's a bit like asking why murderers are made out to be the bad guys ... when its the judges who sentence them to death and the executioners who execute them?

Satan is the lawless one ... and God is always patient, always loving ... but ultimately a just judge ... when He has to be.
