3 spoke alloys never look well imo.

What will you be changing them for?

    Thank you! Someone who agrees!

These hopefully! Trying to use all genuine parts on this one

Fair enough, I like them purely because the car is a sleeper. I'd sooner put the money into better breaks and suspension, followed by a bigger turbo followed by alloys.

All in the pipeline :) The brakes are fairly good as they are to be honest, so is the suspension, looking at getting an aero ecu, and a TD04 from a h.o.t engine, then the fun starts

    From the picture thread,
Yeah BA i got an estate, it's something different and plus I need the room, grandmothers getting around equipment and so on, walking frame and the like, just about fitted into the astras boot, plus it's a nice sleeper, fools people ;)

Scortho, the alloys wreck my head, they ruin it for me to be honest haha so they must go!

Opps didn't realise we weren't to discuss on that thread.

There is one parked up in Nenagh with 3 spoke alloys that are flatter and they look very well. I'd be looking for very grippy tyres for that car. You'll wear any brand quickly but I understand the torque steer can be a b!tch to handle in the wet with cheap tyres on.

Ah no, just trying to save us all bans and such :)

Ah yeah three spokes are like marmite, you either like them or hate them i think, there's chinese rubbish on the back of it and it was a bit wobbly in places driving it home to be honest, but having said that it needs alignment and tracking too so once i pick a tyre and get the alloys, it's going in for the whole lot

The three spoke Saab alloys are like marmite alright.
Similarly the pepperpots on a gtv.

I'd be keeping those Saab alloys though unless you get offered good money, in a few years there'll be demand for them.

You bet I'm keeping them, they're near immaculate as they stand, when i get the chance I'm giving the car a good going over, cleaning wise anyways, good bit of tar on it and i'd say the claying will yield interesting results, paintwork is immaculate though which I'm more impressed about than anything

Must be fun when penalty points arrive in that house!
So who the feck wants to open this bringer of bad news.

No one here has points ;)
I've always wondered how they tell the difference to be honest, I must ask :)

On some letters it's easy but considering I rarely use my middle name (him too) stuff like tax/insurance renewal forms and revenue letters are anyone's guess as to whos it'll be.... Great crack one year when his tractor and van renewal came along with some renewal for me and a final notice, along with 3 axa letters :p

Could be worse, he told me of 3 houses at the end of a lane where the male occupants of each house had the exact same name.... Postmans nightmare :pac::pac::pac:

Postman/woman is erratic with the times.... Once arriving at 8 with the post, other times at 12

I'd love to have seen the 3 houses back in the day though :pac:

Currently testing this app for uploading photos, hopefully it works!

Picked this stuff up in halfords this morning. Don't know what the screen wash is like but it's their advanced range at 2 quid it's worth a chance.

I got too autoglym sets down from 30 euro to 9 euro which seems fairly good. Although I know 30 would be over the top for them price wise. Then I had my dads axa card so got 10% off. I couldn't believe it when he took the card so 8.10 euro each. It has shampoo, super resin polish and extra gloss protection all 325ml. Not really sure what they cost but I think I done well at 19.80 euro for the whole lot :)
