I recognise this but is Cabaye really a big points hitter? Had never really thought of him as a fpl player..

He takes set pieces. Starts every game. Pops up with assists and goals. Not sure what ya expect for 6.2?

2 weeks till next GW, Barkley heading for a fall tonight, one or two others close. I really dont want to make changes already.

Think I'll ride out the Barkley falls. I got him in at 4.5 so I don't think I lose anything when he falls to 5.5 as I'm only getting 5 million for him anyway.

Can a player only fall 0.3 in a game week? I've decided now is the time to stop chasing rises/falls. My team value is near 108 million and two years ago when I finished in the top 500 I never once looked at FISO, TotalFPL or price changes.

Took an 8 point hit to get rid of Barkley, zabaleta and Lukaku for Debuchy, Morrison and Rooney. Had to do it because Barkey will fall .3 and Morrison will rise .3. That's too much of a financial swing for my liking.

Lukaku has been dire the last 4 games and Barkley and zab keep getting dropped.

Picked up this on Twitter from one of the FantasyScout people that the rises were occuring faster owing to increasing on 40k-40k-40k rather than 40k-80k-120k of last season, this explains some rapid increases this season.

I wonder are falls the same or if the formula for falls has changed to allow a drop easier?

MOTD2 just said Vidic should be fine.

I'll ride put his drop this week so.

Lukaku > Remy the obvious option for me! Will hopefully get a .3 rise out of him before the next deadline too!

great captain option for next gw aswell.

Have the funds for Giroud > Rooney. Should I pull the trigger? Thinking about it because I'm very Arsenal heavy (Ozil & Ramsey). It would leave me with Suarez, Aguero, and Rooney up front and some difficult captain choices:D

Going to take a chance on Remy for Lukaku. Could be a great differential in my private leagues with home games against Norwich and West Brom along with an away trip to Swansea in his next three games.

    Giroud out, Remy in.

Need rid of Boruc too but I don't think taking a hit to do so would be wise.

Seems like half the posters here planning on doing Lukaku to Remy. Me thinking it was a cunning plan baldrick. 17k NTI and possibly rising tonight.....

Was lookin at Sessegnon also but WBA next three not that hot, Villa(h), Newcastle(a) and Man City (h).... Good run after that though.

Rooney looked pretty good today but with Aguero and Suarez already it would take most people, myself included a good bit of reorganising to get all three in.

After a lot of chopping and changing I've done the following with my 2 free transfers.

    Whittaker
    >>> Debuchy
    Boruc
    >>>> Harper

Whittaker is dropping tonight so need to take action. Newcastle have some nice fixtures so Debuchy is a definite upgrade and goes straight into my 1st team. Borucs fixtures are not great & I've Clyne as cover as well.

Would like to do Brady ---->>> Morrison as well. Anyone know whats happening with Brady??

Uh oh. Debuchy yellow card today means he is suspended for next game. Just hasn't updated on the fpl site yet.

It's the first time in months that I won't have made a transfer on the Sunday night rushing to bring somebody in. I'll either go nuts and "fix" my midfield or make just the one or no transfers. That's a simple pleasure in itself

It's going to be hard to shake Sess from my mind now. As regards to my midfield: Ozil's days are numbered, assist machine or not. AJ is a bargain price but not being a regular is an issue for me. Howson and Ravel will be my cheap mids for the time being.

For some reason I'm thinking Townsend might do more against City than at home. It was pointed out somewhere that White Hart Lane being so narrow was cause for conflicting with Spurs' style and I think I might agree. He may find more space in the Ethiad, but long term he's not viable. I've got 4 million to inject into that midfield too so I'll have some fun playing around with things for the 2 weeks.

Barkley out before he drops and I lose money, Morrison in before he goes up. This now gives me 2.2 in the bank for future changes.

Have a couple of other players teetering on the drop, Giroud, and the way he is being shipped out, Sturridge. Although not panicing over Giroud, he has served mw well up until the last couple of games, as has Sturridge, but will be watching him closely.

He is only down for four yellows including today's?

Cards in the Capital One Cup are also counted and as he got a yellow card in the League Cup game at home to Man City he will be suspended for their next game.

Ah fook it. Lukaku to Remy. As Frano would say 'It's the Universe Nidgie'... ;)

Anybody looking at Evans for 5 million ? 2 away games next but Cardiff and spurs are not exactly prolific !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,004 ✭✭✭✭8-10

Remy looks really tempting but do I really want 3 Newcastle players??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,094 ✭✭✭SpaceCowb0y

great captain option for next gw aswell.

Was thinking that myself but really don't know if I have enough faith in Newcastle to score more then 1 even if they are against a poor side! Can see Suarez putting goals past Everton!

Definitely not captaining Suarez next week. Hate the early kick off on Saturday for a captain at the best of times but a Derby match where Suarez will have only got back from south america less than 48hrs beforehand? No thanks

Next game week looks v tough fixture wise though

Its a bugger of a week, and its cup week in my league. partly why I went for Remy for a bit of a differential and possible captain. Scoring in a 1.0 win and getting 18pts as captain would do all right....anything else from him a bonus.

And the wee stat bar on MOTD2 highlights did point out that he has scored 47% of all Newcastle goals this season.
