With the exception of week 15 away to United, Newcastle have great defensive fixtures till week 18. I'd recommend Santon as being a near certain starter but it might be worth taking a little gamble on Collocini, he'll almost certainly win his place back and is a great fella for bonus points but they've done well without him so nothing is guaranteed. Vlaar for Villa has good fixtures also, don't bother upgrading your defenders, none of the big boys are providing suitable returns, spend your money further up the field.

Thanks for confirming I'm not mental to consider Collocini!

Will probably to a -4 to swap either him or Vlaar in for Clyne for a spell.

For anybody considering Colloccini, from the Newcastle site:

"Mathieu Debuchy is suspended with some suggestions that Fabricio Coloccini may return to the side in the right back role, although Vurnon Anita could also be fielded there."

Am going to go for Yanga-Mbiwa myself, he's cheaper and seems pretty nailed on.

Is there a reason why nobody mentions Cazorla as another option? He could be a sneaky differential to the differential that is Walcott who's a differential to Ozil.

I guess all it means is a Ramsey hat-trick :pac:

I'm hoping AJ might get his rise tonight, wishful thinking I know. I'm pretty certain I want to bring Sessegnon in for him and would wait til the morning if he were to rise tonight.

Tough call between Collocini and Vlaar, but think Villa have somewhat better fixtures through Xmas. Away to WBA this week means not worth a hit though, so have to resign my self to a back three of Terry, Merts and Clyne this GW. :(

Im also not too happy with my team this week
    Boruc(davis)
    Dawson terry johnson(clyne, chester)
    ozil coutinho arnie townsend(barkley)

I have 2.7 million and havent made a transfer yet. Anybody any suggestions? I was thinking of saving a transfer to allow me get walcott in next week but am now thinking I need to strengthen my team somewhere for this week.

One suggestion but you won't like it.

    Ramsey for arnie or townsend:)

Btw all your defence is away this gw. Ouch, swings and roundabouts though;)

that totally makes sense but Im being stubborn on that one:eek:. Ye defence is a nightmare and Ive 3 liverpool players, townsend away at city. Arnie actually has a good fixture but was taken off on 50 mins the previous game so am a bit fearful of him not starting.

I agree. Arnie or Barkley out for Ramsey, Brady or Morisson IMO.

What about Sessegnon? Seems like he's getting back to his form of old and at 6.6 won't break the bank. He'll be my transfer for AJ who will probably end up rising tomorrow night as a final kick in the teeth!

Will Brady play tomorrow? Down as 75%.

Would it be better but Cabaye/Remy?

I'm leaning towards Cabaye and maybe Bony. He's a likely starter and good fixtures

Bruce hasn't confirmed him or McGregor 100% but it looks like they will play. At this stage, the way he has been talking, I'd be surprised if they both didn't start.

sessegnon was my initial thought 12 days ago and is my most likely transfer. The problem with that is Ill need a 4 pt hit for walcott next week as I want to keep ozil and coutinho.

Would it hurt to wait another week to bring him in? Cardiff away is no gimme and the Hull game is midweek so just a couple of days afterwards. I think everyone knows I want rid of Ozil but it's all about timing and I'm not sure there's a real need to rush Wally.

Was unsure whether to start him or AJ.

    Brady will get the nod.

Just did it barkley to sess. Sess plays the mon night game and has low ownership will be a nice differential going into mon night. Walcott is an old FF favourite of mine I'll probably wait till that Hull game and give him the armband. Could be a good chance for arsenal to give giroud a rest with walcott centre forward.

Anyone think its worth starting Fulham's KASAMI at home to Swansea or Ravel Morrison at home to Chelsea?

Looking like a boring no transfer for me. Not expecting a whole lot from this GW fixture wise. Could be taking a points hit though next week for mini wildcard to sort out my midfield

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,009 ✭✭✭kronsington

    Is Walcott expected to start?

I've decided to take a punt on Bony in for Sturridge.
I would have hung on to Sturridge if there wasn't the doubts about him starting today.

Despite a stuttering start Bony seems to be able to score goals and Swansea have been scoring even if they've been struggling.

    Kasami or Morrison lads?

I may be crazy, but my transfer this week was Ozil in! No hit, had the cash

He is in for next 3-4 games as part of a bigger plan of mine that works on a 3-4 game basis

I can see the sense of it and I'll be holding him for 3 weeks anyway, I went on to say it was about getting the timing right. Ozil is no doubt a fantastic player and with Walcott back could yield even greater returns and if so could scupper my plans, here's hoping :pac:

Decided on a late transfer Clyne > Vlaar

I was going to hold off at least another week in swapping Sturridge for Suarez but his yellow flag(although I'm fairly certain he'll play) may have scuppered this, Looks like Mirallas will get a one week reprieve as he was for the chopping block this week, he scored for Belgium the other night so it mightn't be totally hopeless.

That worked out alright, i'm thinking of postponing this for another week now:p
