Another 22,000 transfers out and he'll drop .

I'm avoiding FF until the 19th - Brady will likely go down £0.1 tonight but it doesn't affect my resale value, and he's the only one I'm not happy with. Will keep an eye on the transfers and make a move early if needs be, but I'm hopeful things will go quiet over the next week. Ramsey transfers have slowed right down so he should stay at £6.6m. Happy enough with the team atm, might not even make a change if it looks like Brady won't miss many games.

11 points off top 100k and 45 off top 10k.

    How many points have you?

    Szczesny, McGregor

    Koscielny, Terry
    Coleman, Ferdinand, Fonte

    Oscar, Ben Arfa, Brady
    Yaya Touré, Gunnarsson

    Sturridge, Campbell, Suárez

That's my squad. I've got 3.1m in the bank. Thinking of sending Campbell on his way and bringing in Remy or Lukaku. Also want to get rid of Ferdinand and bring in either Baines, Jose Enrique or Zabaleta.

    Thoughts? Advice?

Points wise I'm on 379 at the minute so doing ok but could be a lot better.

I'd rather have Arsenal attackers (I'd say that's what your team lacks the most) than defenders so Szczesny and Koscielny is way too much IMHO. Then if you go Ferdinand -> Baines you'd have 2 Everton defenders added to 2 Arsenal... They both have nice fixtures coming but you'd be in a disastrous position if they concede which they did in the last 3-4 games. What about Spurs defenders? The 0-3 home hammering by the Hammers had to be an off day didn't it? Or a Swansea defender. They have a great run of fixtures coming. Then between Enrique and Zab it's a bit of a coin toss. They both have reasonably good fixtures coming, they do go forward and are in teams scoring goals so...

Finally, between Lukaku and Rémy... Everton have better fixtures and are a better team. Rémy is on fire (but Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs away in the next 4 games !!!). The perspective of getting a position in the French team could boost him too while Lukaku's one is pretty much secured in the Belgian one. Considering the fixtures list and both their good form I'd go for Lukaku.

Just a small point, having both Suarez and Sturridge seems like a terrible idea to me.

Liverpool have had a decent start to the season but how likely are they to keep that up? Yes it's paid off in the last two weeks, but against the two favourites for relegation.

Tying up over 20% of your bank on both of them is a very risky strategy imo

Yeah I brought Suarez in specifically for those games alright. Not planning on staying with the two. Think I'll probably stick with Sturridge and sell off Suarez for another on-form striker

Doing a wildcard so looking to maximise increases over the 2 weeks!
Lukaku going up tonight, and I'll buy him anyway, so basically would it be more valuable to keep Suarez or Sturridge for the 2 weeks and hope for a 0.3 increase from one of them?

Who's more likely to increase by 0.3 (or 0.2 at least)

What are your options, are you confined to Lukaku coming in for either Suarez or Sturridge?
If so keep the one that you plan to use in the future.
You don't want to be buying them back at a higher price in 11/12 days time.
Any gains can be wiped out, or you could easily lose out with that happening.

Remy is the safest bet for a 0.2-0.3 riser out there I would say.

I'm the same. Going to let Suarez go because Sturridge is cheaper and I've made alot more money on him so would lose more by letting him go.

I think Sturridge is better value all round as well.

Looking at bringing in Benteke for Soldado - looks very likey that he will be back after in the Internationals..

I'll prob wait until closer to deadline time though..

Having a shocking start to the season - but I'm optimistic that a few good weeks will see me rocket up the table..

Had to ship Ben Arfa out before his drop tonight... terrible move on my part, he done less then nothing for me! Himself and Lampard have been my two biggest fails so far this season!

    HBA out Barkley in

Fairly sure i will make another move for a hit closer to the game week after the internationals have finished!

I actually find this the most infuriating thing about this game, it's happened to me twice already this season. Although both times I would be in a worse position now had I been able to afford the transfers.

Maybe I'm alone but I like that people struggle to get the strongest combinations of players. It's what sorts out the good and bad FF players, and requires more thought/planning.

What is the expected England back 4 for these qualifiers?

Walker Jagielka Cahill Baines I'd say .

Benteke is firmly in my thoughts over these next 2 weeks. I've never owned the guy but not sure if I can trust Rooney and with AJ in my squad I now have United attacking coverage (:pac:)

He's going to come back into things at a nice price and Villa can score against anyone too. That being said it'd mark the first time in years that I'd be going without a United forward for a prolonged period of time, it's a scary new world though  Might give it a few more weeks though with the fixtures Rooney has.

As for this man, he's not left my thoughts since I sold him at 9.2m and kept Sturridge a while longer. Will be straight back in when fit for me...

Do Utd not have some favourable fixtures over the next month?

Got rid of Ben Arfa, Soldado, Toure and Coleman in my wildcard. Seems to have worked out.

Coleman is on the chopping block soon. Not a priority just yet

Yeah, thinking the same re Coleman, but with the clean sheets gotten very scarce lately, where do you go?

As long as Liverpool continue to play the formation they are, I'd keep both Suarez and Sturridge. Two players in great form with a team specifically set-up to get the most out of them. More importantly, they are linking superbly as a partnership in creating chances for each other. Liverpool haven't a bad run of games at all over the next two months (meeting only Arsenal of the usual top four). They've a great chance of getting goals against a poor Newcastle defense in next GW for starters. Coloccini doesn't like being turned and ran at which is exactly what the pair do. Also significant IMO is that Suarez and Sturridge have little upcoming club distractions compared to the alternatives.

Giroud: Has to play every game as a lone frontman for Arsenal and given that he'll most likely be coming off the international break into a schedule of three games in seven days (including a tough CL tie against Dortmund) I can see his form easing off slightly over the next month. The 3rd of the three games - Crystal Palace away - looks a walkover on paper but with it being a 12.45 kick-off, Crystal Palace will be all out to ambush Arsenal and make things as difficult as possible for them and their sole striker. Arsenal play with little width (especially if Walcott doesn't start) and Selhurst Park is the type of small ground where Arsenal's narrow game could come unstuck. Their next two fixtures after that are Liverpool(H) and Utd(A).

Aguero: Great player and high-scorer but as seen at the weekend can miss some absolute sitters. A riskier buy than Sturridge or Suarez in my opinion. Has only completed one PL game so far this season and with the gritty West Ham and Chelsea (both away) the next two up, he'll need to be more clinical. City's poor away form of one point from three games would be a big negative for picking him too.

Remy: Newcastle's next four fixtures are Liverpool, the Wearside Derby, Chelsea, Tottenham. Can't trust his team to provide enough chances for him to flourish in those games.

Negredo: In good form but as mentioned, his club's away form is poor so far and there's always the threat of Dzeko getting a game ahead of him, given City's options.

Rooney & RVP: I'm a United fan but I don't think either player offers any value at present. United, regardless of the Sunderland win, are not playing well and when that happens Rooney is invariably the player who sacrifices himself for the good of the team by dropping deep and working for the ball. He's not selfish enough to be a great FF player IMO. RVP has looked slightly hesitant in his last few games and 13.9 is a poor price for a player coming back from a niggling injury and yet to hit really top form. Would not have much confidence in either justifying their price-tag against the team with the best defensive record in league next time out..

Soldado: Rested/dropped at the weekend. Either way, I don't think Tottenham are set up to get the best out of him with a real lack of width bar Townsend. Narrow, intricate play does not suit his poacher style IMO.

In conclusion: My front 3 are Suarez, Sturridge and Lukaku and will remain so until at least December, health permitting.

excellent post I've the same front 3 as you and aim to keep them for the next 3 weeks. Of all the top 7 teams these 3 strikers will be the freshest of the lot and if you have the 3 of these it makes no sense to ship them out at the minute as all 3 are scoring and rising in price.

Same front three. I still want to go Sturridge to Benteke when he's fit and looking sharp, it will free up about 0.7m for me to improve a defender or get in a form mid. Timing will depend on fixtures, values and when Benteke looks fully fit.

Liverpool have two away games in the next 5 where they will be lucky to come away with anything in Arsenal and Everton, and potentially tricky games against Newcastle and West Brom...then only real gimme is Fulham at home, but Liverpool have history of struggling against poor sides at home.

I dunno, two great fantasy players, but having two of them on the go together just seems very risky.

Which one do you drop at the moment though? The pair of them have played 9 games this season sturridge has scored in 6 out of 7 and suarez 2 out of 2. Pretty consistent last year aswell. Long term I wont go with both but happy enough to stick with both of them till the arsenal game. Id like to get in rooney but want to make sure I take out the right one between suarez and sturridge cant be sure on that decision yet and both are rising in price.

I went Sturridge ----> Suarez last week. Plan on having him for the season so seemed the right thing to do. It's all good and well having the 2 of them but wait til the pool draw a blank, there will be a lot of head scratching!

Between the two at the weekend, while Sturridge could have scored 2 more, if he had both would have been Suarez assists, while Suarez could also have had another. So I'm thinking if both keep up the good form, Suarez will assist more for Sturridge than vice versa.
