Gameweek 8 Transfers.

I'm going to take another hit I reckon. Lukaku in for Rooney and Oscar in for either Brady or Barkley. I'll decide after Love Hate who goes for Oscar. I'm thinking Barkley because I only got him last week or the week before so won't be losing money on him and I'm more likely to play Brady before him.

Got michu and lukaku in for soldado and Eriksen. Swansea have good fixtures coming up, and lukaku is on form, both easy enough decisions to make

Oscar. With the exception of City on 27th, Chelsea don't face any of the top dogs in their next 9 games. Main man and fairly consistent so should only improve if he gets some help from his strikers.

I'd hold off especially as its international gameweek. U never know which idiot will end up getting injured.

Cheers, well he was perilously close to rising but that should put a stop to it so no rush now. Could be a blessing in disguise really.

lads unless you have a player thats injured and going to drop in value or you can only get a certain player in by buying before a price rise I really dont see why anyone has made a tranfer so much can happen in the next 13 days. I get that people are frustrated but maybe just take 10 days away from thinking about the game and forget that if you sign someone now you will get him a little bit cheaper than fri week. Atleast come fri week you will know whose fit and wont be making snap decisions based on what happened over the last 2 days.

What you say makes total sense but I just wanted to get my transfer done so I can stop thinking about the game and take a well earned two week sabbatical.

If that transfer was sitting there, I know I'll be doing my 10k run in the morning, and while I'm bored out of my head, I'll be weighing up the pros and cons of should I bring in Yaya or Oscar.

At least now it's done.

it hasnt been an easy start for most of us this season and the break has come at the right time. Ive been lucky the last few weeks going with boruc over mig with boruc getting 4 cs and mig getting 0 (the odds on that happening would have been massive)has helped me climb the rankings big time. Its given me a huge boost broke the top 100k and is probably why Im a bit more relaxed than some around here. Im doing the same as you switch off and revisit it thurs or fri week.

Have 4 million in the bank plan to do moses to michu or oscar. Defence is an issue with chester injured and collins dropped so may have to look at making a change there.
Shaw not playing is rough.

Wise words, this may be the first week yet that I've not rushed into an early transfer as somebody dropping in value or a target who was increasing rapidly. So far I've got away with it.

Think it's gonna be Ben Arfa to Oscar, the former can drop another 0.1 without affecting my net value, and Oscar not rising yet so will leave it as long as I can but won't let it cost me a couple of hundred k. If a total injury crisis I could live with a hit at the end to the fortnight.

Btw, my team not dissimilar to yours but I'm well behind after dropping from top 250k to 350 something today!

Haha, same here, really bloody tempted to axe 6 or 7 of them!

I'm avoiding FF until the 19th - Brady will likely go down £0.1 tonight but it doesn't affect my resale value, and he's the only one I'm not happy with. Will keep an eye on the transfers and make a move early if needs be, but I'm hopeful things will go quiet over the next week. Ramsey transfers have slowed right down so he should stay at £6.6m. Happy enough with the team atm, might not even make a change if it looks like Brady won't miss many games.

11 points off top 100k and 45 off top 10k.

I want to transfer Ben Arfa out before he drops in value (wasn't really affected by the first drop, because he's now at the price I bought him for) which means doing an early transfer.

With the 0.1 I have in the bank, I have 7.5 to make a transfer. Any suggestions?

I am 0.1 short to make a double transfer of Lukaku to Giroud and Barfa to Oscar which is annoying. I'd have to make a third transfer (8 point hit) to make it work.

I actually find this the most infuriating thing about this game, it's happened to me twice already this season. Although both times I would be in a worse position now had I been able to afford the transfers.

Tell me about it. If I had done Lukaku to Giroud before the weekend I'd have been able to do the second part of the transfer now. But with their respective fixtures I thought Giroud would fare better.
