Need rid of Lambert, Ben Arfa and Moses, but only one can get the chop this week.

The most obvious one is probably Lambert. I can afford Lukaku if I do that.

Not sure what I would do if I dropped one of the other 2 yet, so they get a stay this week I think.

best getting rid of ben arfa first the other 2 should start this week. Lambert is more than capable of scoring against utd.

Swiper talking about bringing RVP into his team? The hell happened over the weekend and hat have you done with the Swiper we know and love?

I'm going to try and wait until thursday or friday before I really look at things again. The internationals will be done and dusted then too. It's amazing at just how quiet the place has been though since about Tuesday last week bar a few lads straying in for a while :pac:

swiper to have rvp captain when he grabs a hat trick when all the rvp postman posters have offloaded him:D

Really want to get Lukaku in my team but no idea which one of Sturridge, Giroud or Rooney to get rid of. They all have lovely fixtures. I was thinking Giroud as he has the worst form of the 3 but nervous getting him out before a home game against Norwich.

    Rooney.

interesting stuff stoke and west ham failing to score in 4 out of 7 games. Stoke were much the same last year and despite west ham winning at spurs last time I'd see a lack of goals at both ends in their games going forward. 1 cs in 7 for arsenal is poor when you consider the fixtures they had however they have been far and away the most impressive attacking team to date.

I'm thinking of getting Mertesacker in, despite these figures. Arsenals next two fixtures scream clean sheets. Up against Norwich and Palace, two teams that cannot find the net this season, and are also up there for conceding the most!

The statistics would indicate that Man City have been more impressive attacking.

Scored well over two goals a game, three more than Arsenal in all and probably have had harder fixtures.

I was basing my opinion on their actual performances arsenal have looked like they have goals in them everytime Ive seen them. City seem to be great at home and poor away. The stats do tell another story and ye city have had marginally the harder games.

Would tend to agree with you but I only mentioned it because you had said that Arsenal were far and away the most impressive.

City may have gotten poor results away from home but they have still been scoring goals.
They've scored two goals in each of the away games even though they've lost two them.

I think I will get Silva back in soon myself.

Arsenal with Walcott and Cazorla still to come back scream GOALS GOALS GOALS.

May well abandon my plans to bin Giroud

Decided to drop original plans, and got rid of Zabaletta and brought in Mertesacker. Citys defense is poor thus far and at €6.2m Zab is not giving any bang for the buck. Also made a €0.2m profit on him so thats handy.

Arsenals next 2 are Norwich and Palace so that gives me more confidence of at least on clean sheet over City being away to West Ham and home to Chelsea.

Have €2m in the bank as well now, so that gives me some scope to improve elsewhere next week.

Arsenal are far more likely to win 4-1 than they are 4-0. Regardless of whether they keep clean sheets in the next 2 or not, I'm shipping Kosielny out.

I did Ward-Prowse to Januzaj and that's probably all I'll do right now.

That's the thing with Arsenal alright. I need to make a defensive reshuffle with Kos and Hangeland out, I'm just not sure this is the week to do it. If Swansea's defenders happen to be fit come friday I may do Hangeland out anyway but Kos will not be far behind and I'm eyeing up Clyne next week for him.

I don't normally do long term planning as it never really works out for one reason or another. However my thinking defensively now is to leave Mertesacker in situ for the next two weeks- then I will replace him with a Chelsea defender(probably Terry) and double up on their defence(I have Luiz) for the following 7 weeks, that way even with rotation I'll be sure of having one of them play, I'm confident that there's goals in Luiz this year and we know Terry is always a threat.

Or would you not just pick one Chelsea defensive option who's a guaranteed starter and thus eliminating the need to rotate? (Cech, Cole, Ivanovic?)

Exact same transfers out for me. Exact same transfers in too. For me, Chico is the top Swans defender.

Still looking at bringing in Mertesacker for the next 2 weeks. It leaves me £0.4m to possibly upgrade Rooney to Aguero.

Keep Brady, he may be back for next week and a good bet long term, your biggest problem is Ward prowse. Get rid before he loses you more value, Brady's price holding despite injury.

You're just short of Ward p to oscar, but maybe somebody cheaper like sigurdson or Townsend and keep a few quid to reorganise defence? I actually reckon if you did wp to somebody decent you have a reasonably good 343 for this weekend (bench fonte).

Would like to get on it myself, but giving Erikson a few more weeks, and the bandwagon will have departed by then.

Might have a bit of Schurrle after his hat trick to tonight, considering Oscars jetlag
