Yeah, was driving past with Trevor last night and stopped in to see what it was. Funny mission alright, was talking to someone and he said it was aliens when he done it. He must have done it with someone else.
Rockstars team of writers must be seriously messed up!

I laughed when you do it as Franklin,
he takes a puff, says it's "weak ass sh*t" and walks away.

    Yeah, made me laugh.

    What's the story with
    finding the weed for Barry
    though. I went into the
    green area
and searched for ages, tried every car I could find...

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,976 ✭✭✭✭humanji

    There's two of them.
One if in a kind of scrapyard. There's a tank and a tow truck in there too. The other, I think, is a truck that's behind some warehouses. Pretty much in the middle of the marked zones. As you get near the vehicles, Franklin will ring Barry. Just keep searching for them. It's about all you can do.

Try doing that to Trevor's house and he'd probably come out and join you.

    Not really

I was a bit annoyed they were all so easy - very little challenge in apprehending the bail jumper once you located him.

Actually on the bail mission, where abouts is the 2nd guy, I've forgot about him and I'm sure I deleted the e-mail. :o

edit - actually I might be thinking of the third guy - really can't remember.
He's in a barn near Sandy Shore IIRC - a bit below and to the left of the airfield on the map. Hard to give directions without the a map for reference!

i'd love to have seen one of the bail jumpers hiding out somewhere difficult, like the army base.

Someone on the run from the law, hiding out in a high security military base?

It's that crazy it just might work.

It's very difficult to get in as the gates do not open whatsoever in Online. You have to get decent speed car and trying the hop the fence from the left side of the bridge entrance. Myself, Soby and Saulgoode spent a decent amount of time trying it. Got in a few times, but like the police, the army are that bit more loco online it seems. More aggressive and better accuracy. I was literally a second if even that from actually being in the cockpit but before I could open the latch, I was torn to shreds. There was one time a tank picked me from a 100 yards away! Single player, the tanks are fairly useless unless up close.

Also, the chopper in the airport doesn't always spawn too which is somewhat annoying.

Hey lads, just did the first mission for the first heist but made a stones of the approach (eg i took smart) and the crew I chose, it autosaved after...

Is there any way i can go back and change the approach?

I'm guessing no, but worth a try

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,187 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

Las Venturas would of been perfect for a few heists.

Another city would've been nice imo.

I agree. Would love to do another casino heist like the Calli in SA. Maybe this would be the DLC Rockstar have been talking about?

I'm not sure, you can replay the mission yes, but I'm not sure if it lets you try the alternate approach or just aim for a better result. Either way, I don't think you come away with a better cash take.

Updated the game, Went and started a new single player game and I keep getting " ALERT error in free space check" when I try to save the game.
Haven't even tried to go to online yet.

Does this mean all my saves are fecked?

Did anyone come across an issue whereby Franklin can't answer the phone to kick off an assisination mission? I go to the L icon, a pay phone rings....I walk into the yellow circle that usually starts the cut scene/mission but nothing doing. No other missions available so think I have to start this one to advance.....

I hope so... You plan the heist in LS, get all the gear, then fade to black and it fades up and you're in LV in front of the casino. Would be awesome.

I kind of thought that to start, but have really got into three stations:

The Soulwax one, The Lee Perry one and the Gilles Peterson one.

EDIT: that's Soulwax FM, The Blue Ark & Worlwide FM
