Yeah I prefer the first myself, although Nastasic didn't start today while Lescott did so may have that spot revised. My biggest problem is I'd rather have Clyne or a 4.5 defender rather than Baker as a rotation option. Otherwise I'm rather pleased with it right now. I could just chance Mig as my only keeper

i wouldn't be worried about pre season lineups until august none of the teams are putting out their strongest elevens yet. You should get away with 1 keeper till the new year dodgy after that with fa cup the weather etc.

I wouldn't go for De Gea right off the bat with Uniteds start. Azpilicueta misses the first match. Cabral and Jose... who? I think Cabral scored earlier today in a friendly but other than that I know little about them other than the fact that you are being forced into starting two £4.5m midfielders (who may not even play) because you have RVP. Anelka also not guaranteed to play. The weakness and unpredictability of the players you've picked will mean it's likely your bench will come into play right from GW1. And what a weak bench it is!

So you have the worst high-price keeper (based on fixtures), no sub keeper, a defender that misses GW1, two bargain basement midfielders new to the PL who may not even play, an attacker who is likely to be rotated and another who's never kicked a ball for his club, or any PL club. Worst of all, and I can't believe you have actually done this - Paul Mcf**kingShane. Thats minus one point right there.

From a purely critical POV, worst team I've seen posted so far! Early days yet, plenty of time to tinker.

Current draft, cheap defence again is plan again but depending on new bonus system may need to make a big change early on there, any major flaws or players not starting please:

    Mignolet
    Westwood

    Collins
    Coleman
    Olsson
    Dawson
    Cuellar

    Kagawa
    Walcott
    Hazard
    Mirallas
    Colback

    Van Persie
    Bony
    Anelka

Willing to give Kagawa a few week but should be easy enough to replace if he's not playing.

that team isn't based on the week 1 or any fixtures, its basically a team with RVP, Bale, Hazard and Walcott, all others where auto-subbed in. i know the cheapies are shít but McShane is worldclass! :pac:

Got 3 cheapish forwards who all play on teams who don't have many other attacking players so I could afford a strong midfield. Thoughts?

It's an interesting strategy, and one that I considered, as I think there is good value in some of the cheaper strikers.

However, I don't htink you've ended up with a strong enough midfield to justify the strategy.

I'd switch Mata and Yaya OUT, and get Hazard and Walcott IN.

I'd also consider switching Johnson for Mertesacker (you've already got a Liverpool defender in Mig) and use that money to upgrade Nolan, probably to Mirallas.

    Anyone ?

Pretty strong team i like the midfield and defense. I don't think Michu is worth the 9.0. Also taking a risk on two strikers who are having their debut seasons.

Good idea switching in Hazard and Walcott, not sure how much I like Mirallas though. I'll probably bring Mertesacker in for Johnson anyways but I'm not too sure what, if anything, I'll do with the £0.5m I get from the swap. I would think about swapping Hazard for Cazorla but I don't know that I want to double up on Arsenal midfielders. Think I might bring Pienaar in for Nolan. I slightly prefer him to Mirallas. I can always use the extra £0.5m later if I need it.

    First draft -
Who are good rotating cheap keepers this season?
I've gone with Boruc and Mannone but unsure if they rotate well and too lazy to go through it
1 million in bank with this team. criticism welcome

    Mignolet Davis

Coleman, Mertesacker, Zabaleta, Wilson and R Bennett
Bale , Hazard, Nolan, Mirallas and Sterling

    Negredo, Berbatov and Van Wolfswinkel

    Can anyone see any improvements?

I like that team, similar to my current team. Only question is Sterling? Will he get much gametime?

Search for Gyazo on Google and download it. You can crop without having to print screen and go to Paint. It's brilliant.

The only requirement is that you're hooked up to the internet.

    @Sin City

Your defence is quite weak. Vertonghen is not worth the 7m so I would consider downgrading to better options like Terry, Mertesacker or Nastastic if he gets the games.

The midfield is very weak apart from Bale and Hazard. Michu is over priced at 9m, Oscar is subject to rotation so at 8.5 m I wouldn't consider him either. Hoolahan isn't worth it either and Snodgross is far better bet for a Norwhich player, priced at 6.5m. I would consider the following midfielders: Snodgross for Norwhich cover, Brady/Koren and Miralles.

Mason? who? I doubt this guy will get any games and Long is a huge gamble. I'd consider Berbatov, Negredo and Bony as a strike force.

Don't be offended by this but that is terrible Fantasy Football logic. You won't get far with it.

ALWAYS put your top players in your team if you have a doubt over them. You just have to refer to the RVP fiasco from two seasons ago to see why this is so important.

15 minutes from Bale will probably result in more points than from all of your other midfielders put together.

Also, Bale will almost certainly play that game. He doesn't seem to be injured badly.

    START HIM

    Quite similar to my team.

I'm not sure about Negredo though. Has there been any indication to say that he'll be a starter at City? The same with Nastasic.

Bale, Hazard and Walcott seems to be the way to go in midfield though.

Personally, I wouldn't go with Nastasic, Baker, Terry or Anelka. Too many questions over whether they'll start.

I always like to begin the season with 15 lads who will definitely play.

You have 4 top defenders - Coleman, Terry, Nastasic and Mert. Chances are you'll only ever play three. I'd keep Mert and Coleman and change your other three defenders. One more medium to high priced, like Assou Ekotu for example, and two cheapies that play like Collins off West Ham and Mickey Turner for 4.5.

I'd also suggest changing Redmond for Robbie Brady. I expect Brady to do well and Redmond's stats aren't that great AFAIK.

I think Negredo is worth it as the one risk you should take. Last season I went with Hazard as mine and it worked out well.

He will start im sure, but I just placed him on bench to see how team looks w/o him,,

Taking into account that undoubtedly he will start for me, can I improve on sectors now or have I done the best I can for my money???

Not really. Your midfield is really weak. Coutinho is the only good player you have.

Think seriously about having RVP and Bale. You'll have to be very thrifty with your money if you insist on having both.

Defence is alright. I'd change your GKs.

You can't just rely on RVP and Bale. They won't be good enough to drag you through each week.

    Foster
    Coleman/Evra/Luiz
    Puncheon/Sylla/Bale/De Guzman
    Benteke/Van Wolfswinkel/Van Persie

Boruc, Clyne, Rangel and Jonathan Williams on the bench.

Happy enough with this team I think apart from Jarvis, have 1m left over so 6.5 to spend on a mid, so maybe just wait to see what transfers happen. West ham good enough start though.

the 1m can also cover Negredo to Rooney if he moves to Chelsea and they have a double gameweek, or RvW to Lukaku if Rooney doesnt go through.

Finally the 1m could upgrade Mignolet to Hart which would be good as I have no City defensive cover.

    Decisions decisions.

    Any opinions or suggestions?

How do I paste my team in as an image and not a link?
