    Lower levels of testosterone.

    Thats about it really.

    Does it bother you?

That's not the reason. Camp is mostly a cultural thing. Most homosexuals sound masculine.

    Especially the females. *

It's that time of the month for her
No condom, but don't want kids
You want sex, but no kids
    It's tighter
    etc...

This was a brilliant thing and long overdue, but i loath documents that only show one side of the story.

Anyone have a link to the full debate notes? Would like to read some opposing speeches (if there were any).

AFAIK it was passed without vote

It's tighter, warmer and more degrading for her.

True dat, I always thought David Norris' persona as a raging literary queer was a quite brilliant construct designed to challenge attitudes towards homosexuality.

Jaysus Mike, raging literary queer. I've seen norris descibed as many things but thats a new one.

I've only heard that testosterone levels have a possible though inconclusively established effect in utero, and that gay men have the same variance in testosterone levels when they are adults as heterosexual men.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Sounds dubious as fraternal twins would have one gay twin, if we are talking about testosterone, or lack of it, from the mother?

I think some of the gay boys are a lot more in touch with their feminine side than straight people.

I think, to be a real man you must be in touch with your feminine side.......

she's kinda far away, right now tho so I feels like little boy lost.

Yep, only 20 years. I was in my first year of college when this happened. It was long overdue but don't forget that divorce wasn't even legal in 1993 and condoms had only been allowed in pub toilets a couple of years earlier.

Ireland was a truly socially backward country.

Loving the puerile homophobia on this thread BTW...

I'm guessing you've never been rimmed by a woman (or a man), its wonderful and the orgasm is intense as hell.

Hard to believe it is 20 years.
Should have happened long before that and wouldn't have happened at all if David Norris hadn't sued the state and won his case in the ECHR.
