Conor Murray could have played himself out of the test game there.

lions havent deserved to win it really.
too many players had poor or indifferent games.

in fairness brumbies been best oppostion to date.

Great result for the Brumbies, Lions test team looking a little clearer after today

I don't get why they kept going for the scrum? The southern hemisphere refs just don't give penalties for it. All that happens is that you keep resetting until the other side wins one.

Murray and Farrell definitely made a bit of a muck up the top end too. Murray got himself isolated but Farrell should have been in the pocket screaming for it.

Overall though the Brumbies deserved it, they were the better side for 60 minutes until the subs came on.

Better team won. Wade, Twelvetrees, Barrit, Best should be no where near a test side. Williams should have stayed at home.

Why did they continually keep Garryowening the ball, didn't get them anywhere ! Have a cut ffs.

    Lions were Pony

 He was brilliant when he came on? Ran without support once and kicked away a silly ball but he was much better than Youngs

    What game were you watching?

Why did they go for the scrum when trailing by two points around the 70th minute?

Well he wasn't in it anyway, and he played about as well as you would expect, which is good.

I wouldn't have him in the 23 but I don't think he'd be out of place there.

Lions didn't even look close to winning before the bench was emptied, if anything this has shown the strength of the test bench

Bench came on and had a dominant scrum, they were 2 points down with 15 to go. In the opposition half 4/5 times with ball in hand, opportunity to set up drop goal, scrumming for a penalty. Every time they lost possession. What strength ? They failed to generate scores just as the starting team did. And this was the Brumbies, they will be playing the Wallabies !

Better with the bench on but hole to deep. Brumbies did well to stem the tide and hold on. Some dreadful displays (Best, Hogg, Evans, Barritt, 36) and a lot of mediocrity. Not many on the field tonight will be in Saturdays 23. Kearney, Felatau, Murray and Zebo might. Not convinced about SOB.

Didn't see the game, but gutted for Rory Best. Hope he just forgets about this whole tour.

Conor Murray could have played himself out of the test game there.

He did make a difference. Guilty of trying to create too much on his own. Youngs was woeful though.

Stupid stuff from Murray near the end. Never should have went for contact with 5 defenders in front if him and then he took the awful decision to kick possession away with only 3 minutes left.

I think he might still get the bench spot for the tests because Ben Youngs was terrible during his 60 minutes on the pitch today.

Twelvetrees,Barrett,Williams may as well have not been there, they hadn't a clue what to do.

He had better ball to work with though. Youngs had no lineout ball, scrum under pressure and no backline to give it to. Key thing for me is that when it came to crunch time Murray with all those things threw away possession.

backline looked nervy, hesitant and didnt really know what to do-which wasnt suprising really.
got to look at forwards though-they must take the majority of the flack-gave backs no platform whatsoever.

Well done Brumbies, happy to see Barnes made look a bit silly writing Brumbies off with 10 mins left when they were leading.

On small margins are selections made and Murrays composure/decision making near the end of the game wasnt great

Thought Kearney didn't do anything spectacular but, generally, was very solid and composed. Kicked well from hand, chased well, was very safe at the back when the Brumbies tried to play territory. Game was not suited for any back three player to run given the 10,12 and 13.
