Looks like Aldi have changed their days for the start/end of the meat super six, I note the fruit and veg super 6 is valid 5th March to Wed 25th March which seems to be the same Thurs to Wed .

According to Aldi website the meat and fish super 6 is now valid until close of business Mon 30th March not 29th as they previously advertised.

    ^^^^^^^^

"Fruit and veg offers available Thursday 26 March 2015 to Sunday 5 April 2015. Subject to availability."

Maybe its all going to be a changeover on a Sunday instead of a Thursday going forward.

I think that's the first one that I will literally use every single bit of it without any effort to change up a meal/lunch. Happy days!

Anyone tried the Beef Sirloin joint yet?

Also worth noting that I've seen Aldis Four Bird Roast reduced to €9.99. 1.6kg, has turkey, goose, duck and chicken with bacon on top and a glaze to finish it off.

I did last week. There was none left but I found one that someone had obviously hidden under a load of other meat (whoever hid it - sorry pal :p)

For €9 it was a steal. It did us for Sunday roast and I ground the leftovers in a food processor and used it for a very tasty bolognese sauce for another family meal.

They have frozen rolled Lamb reduced from €14 to €7. 900g, comes with a nice lemon, thyme, and mustard (i think) sauce. Very nice, lovely sauce, nice crackling, but its a touch smaller than I expected. I weighted the finished cooked meat (without all the liquids). Ends up around 700g of meet.

Waiting for those venison steaks to reduce again (they're now "4" steaks, but the same weight as the original 2 steaks for more money).

1kg of turkey breast for €9 is decent.

I can see lots of protein fiends buying that in bulk and portioning it up.

I was waiting for this to go on offer and I saw your post went down to Aldi and it's still. 13.99. Please go on offer soon.

It's one or the other depending on availability I'd imagine.

You are correct. It is Striploin.

The 1kg Turkey was originally priced at €9.99 (save 99c)
Thr Angus Ribeye/Striploin was originally priced at €11.99 (save €2.99)

Great to see the rib eyes back. I've also noticed recently if you keep an eye on Lidl's 30% off section in the meat fridges then you can get lucky with steaks now and again. I've got Hereford rib eyes and striploins twice in the last couple of weeks at 30% off, I really must make a note of the days they're most likely to be there.

My god just had one of them rib eyes that honestly was one of if not the best steaks I ever had. They are a beautiful piece of meat for the price. You can tell by the colour too that its aged beef giving it its tenderness.

I may just have the other before I go to bed :D

FYI. Venision Steaks were €4 in Athlone at the weekend there. Ive yet to pop them on the barbie, but they were fantastic months ago, last time they were €4.

    +1 on the rib eye.

Genuinely Tesco and Dunnes sell pretty poor steak in comparison to the Germans

I'd agree generally speaking, but the Tesco Finest Rib-eyes are pretty sweet.
