So, Harrington and Lowry playing together in Wentworth. Nice to see Peter Lawrie getting a start in this big event.

Is there an EPT shot tracker similar to the PGA website?

Id say its unlikely anytime soon.

    350 volunteers per PGA event!!

Even the PGA tour don't bring it to events overseas. Imagine the logistics nightmare with the globe trotting European tour.

Nice to see Niall Kearney shoot 72, be great for him if he made the cut.

I remember seeing lads with iPads marking ball locations in the Irish Open last year. Surely it's just a simple case of sending that info to the tour website.

    2 holes in one already.

I hope they weren't both at the 10th? You'd be sick to have one and not get the M4.

No Craig Lee at the 2nd and Andrew Johnstone at the 10th.

Good man Peter Lawrie - let's hope he can keep this up. It's a great opportunity.

It's only 3 years since he picked up a nice €225,000 cheque for 4th here. How he could do with a repeat this week.

Excellent start for McGrane as well with a 70. Badly needs to get his season going soon. Way off the pace in Race to Dubai.

Lot of work to do to make the cut tomorrow for Clarke(+2), Lowry (+2), GMac (+2) and Hoey (+3).

Paddy didn't last long today with the shoulder injury. Retired after 2 holes.

Speaking of Padraig - I happened to be browsing the European tour website now - and it shows him as having some Race to Dubai points for 2015 in 1 event - but it suggests from the Masters.

Yet he missed the cut at that????

    How does that work

Lowry seems to have gone off the boil - hope it's temporary. I really enjoy watch him play.

Can't remember seeing it happen before for the Masters, but all the players who missed the cut this year got paid just over €9,000.

The greens are looking very patchy and multicoloured... did the commentators mention if they have a disease?

Pretty high scoring today from some. Weemac will need at least a 67 to have a chance going into the weekend.

GMac right on the cutline. Hopefully he squeezes through to the weekend, and finds some form for next weekend.
