The person(s) that were robbing the 711 may end up getting a royal pardon as they have quite likely saved the US from more causalities.

On the contrary, he was probably partly responsible for the death of the officer who responded to the robbery.

He'll be found dead any time soon in my opinion - either by being found and involved in some battle with police or through killing himself. Should the police not find him, he'll eventually run out of resources, food etc. and will die anyway. He's basically a dead man walking if they find him or not.

Redditers are saying it's a 15/20 minute drive, he would have needed a car. He hardly walked the whole way.

The embassy of the Czech Republic in Washington, DC, has released a statement underscoring the fact that it is not Chechnya. The statement reads in part: "The Czech Republic is a Central European country; Chechnya is a part of the Russian Federation."

    :-)

They obviously haven't read his tweets including the one which read 'the Boston Marathon is not a good time to be smokin'...

They're in denial and looking for an external source to blame.

Parental love. It can be messed up at times. Usually is more within the mother.

It must be difficult to rationalise when it's your kid. Cognitive dissonance will kick in.

Surprised Al Queda hasnt claimed resonsibility for the bombs, theres no way they leared how to make suicide vests and bombs by looking it up online, they had some recent training.

So whats the deal with these scanners going dead?
The police are changing frequencies alot?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,381 ✭✭✭✭Allyall

They must be closing in on him and don't want him to know. That may be how he knew all along, scanner.. Doubt it, but he may have been llistening to it.

    Scanners say
Boston area law enforcement feeds are temporarily offline to protect law enforcement resources and their efforts during the manhunt underway in the Boston Metro area.

Isit possible that he is just laying down or hiding low somewhere until dark before he makes his next escape?

I can only speak for myself but if it was my parents they would react the same.

Nothing to do with my obvious good character, just more to the point i can barely change a light bulb so i'm pretty sure they'd immediately say i was set up!!

Even though i'm of course being mildly humorous, there is a serious point in that. No parent wants to even think their child prefers to make a bomb in a pressure cooker instead of a stew. Or that they'd even know how. Or that they'd know how and want to bomb people and not just explode it for ****s and giggles in a field.

These 2 kids, for all that they are muderers, will always just be kids in their parents eyes. It may never sink in that they are guilty.

Getting more of a clear picture from that chief of police.

    > So police chase car with two brothers to Watertown.
    > Firefight ensued.
    > The 26yo brother gets shot and killed while, "white hat guy" (19yo brother) fled "on foot"

So ... how far could he have gone?
Surely not far on foot it would seem. But if he managed to steal another car? he could be anywhere.

So he didn't drive over his brother?
