That would be such an interesting team to watch. I'm raging ill miss it.

Interesting that Jordi Murphy is on the bench? There seems to be a bit of a lack of open field carrying ability in that pack which he would have added. 3 seriously good players starting ahead of him though.

Ruddock,Ryan and Diack are all pretty good carriers.Stevenson isn't bad in the loose as well.I don't know what Foley's strengths are though. The thought of Jordi Murphy being unleashed on a tired team gets me pretty excited for this match.

That list shows Keatley as being capped. When did he play for Ireland?

Nice set of backs and a strong back row.

What a great weekend of rugby ahead.

That's a decent looking pack, hopefully they can set the platform.

Is Georgia's missing men list the result of injury? If not, and it's due to clubs putting pressure on, then it's an offensive farce. Georgia are going into this with two Top14 tightheads, a D2 loose, and a few amateurs to make up the front row. Meanwhile they have EIGHT Top14 frontrowers absent; that's scandalous. The IRB needs to get aggressive in dealing with players not being released.

Georgia have games against Argentina and some players will be playing in that and others are being rested but will be called up for the Tbilisi Cup if required

I think Georgia are treating it as a development competition like we are. Its a pity some of the top players are out but that is life sometimes.

I think that team looks very exciting... we should definitely do this kind of thing more often.

Georgia have a couple of big players....and a Georgian pack can never be underestimated, but considering most of the Irish players have played Heineken Cup rugby a few times...you'd expect us to win.

Ruddock and Diack are good carriers in the tight, as is Stevenson. But I was thinking more of open field carrying.

Dom Ryan was good at it once upon a time but its hard to know where he's at right now. Hopefully he has a storming summer with no injuries.

Times are all over the place

10pm according to The Times http://www.irishtimes.com/sport/rugby/international/emerging-ireland-have-georgia-on-their-minds-1.1419090

    4pm according to IRFU http://www.irishrugby.ie/news/29292.php

If the times on the wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_IRB_Tbilisi_Cup) are correct, then it should be at 4:00pm, given Georgia are three hours ahead, and it's at 7:00pm local time.

When we played Georgia in a RWC qualifier ('02, perhaps?) the bookies were offering odds on whether Georgia's first score would come from an -adze or a -vili.
(Unlike this team, they were 100% one or the other.)

Don't know if it's been posted already, but apparently Conway has picked up a calf injury in training and Peter Nelson has been called into the squad.

For those who know more about Georgian rugby than I, is it fair to say that is a Georgian 'B' team?
