Yes. He uploaded them onto his christianmingle profile and I couldn't help myself. Please, I'm sorry :(

    Don't be sorry at all.

    It's completely natural.

    <pats Lexie's head reassuringly>

    I will pray for you.

I was on the phone to my mam when we were waiting to see the new pope, funniest phone call ever. She had to ring cause she was alone and would cry if she was alone when he came out, and she made sure I was holding my boyfriends hand.

And then she was only delighted he was Francis, cause sure didn't me and her go to Assissi.

I'm excited to visit her this weekend. She's great gas :D

Arsehole night on the roads too, buses deciding to park across two lanes on the quays and taxi drivers trying to run others off the road.

Maybe the taxi drivers were having a secret game of Mario kart.

Well I'd rather they play that when I'm not trying to cycle home, otherwise I'll just have to set the lightning off or sic a blue shell on them!

I think so. He is a Jesuit and as far as I know that order was founded by Francis of Assisi.

He looks far less sneaky than the last fella. Twas the eyebrows or something.

Nah, St Francis founded the Franciscans, Ignatius of Loyola founded the Jesuits.

The pope picks the name of a saint that has personal meaning to them.

Pope Ignatius, has there been one of them before?

    Thanks :)

Am still a bit gobsmacked. The closing date isn't until the end of next month so wasn't expecting to hear anything for ages

I'm having celebratory cake tomorrow :D

    Sarcasm, how you hurt me.

I did check, and there has never been a pope Ignatius.
There was a pope hilarius, though, which I found quite entertaining.

If you liked that then you'll LOVE the story of Pope Humerus.

On his way out to first address his subjects, he fell over and fractured his arm...

On the pope thing. It could have been a worse choice, I think. Some of those cardinals are ultra-conservative and a bit more bonkers in their beliefs than others. But I'll never be a fan of any pope, unless he does a 180 on a lot of issues...

And I'm not even a unique medical wonder! Why can't this be a medical mystery that's easily cured by a genius doctor after a montage of stern faces. Something so common that it can happen to everyone! And nothing to do for it but ice my leg and stretch. I could put up with some temporary pain if it was at least interesting and a tale to tell.
