I *really* want a mirror like this, but one with mini clocks as the star bursts instead of "mini mirrors".

    http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/6233156.htm

I've seen one with mini clocks before but can't remember where, I know it was about €60!

Sitting here thinking of all the unpleasant things that I would rather do than this exam tomorrow. Productive.

I'll never understand why people say "Single as a Pringle"
They're not single, they spoon the shit out of each other until I make them stop.

Last week was a two day week. The week before was a three day week. I dunno how I'll do five days next week, but I can't take all the rest of my holidays before the summer even happens!

Edit: and PixieFairy, nobody ever eats just a single pringle! They're never alone!

    Jaysis I'd love some Pringles.

You know you did the right thing, you wouldn't want the pringles to be lonely. It was out of kindness that you ate them sure.

God, so would I. Sick to death of pureed cold things already, I've spent the day watching cookery shows and fantasising about hot crunchy savoury things I could be eating if my mouth was working.

It's actually not too bad, I'm not really in pain as such, more a weird pressure feeling on my gums. They instilled the fear of God in me about dry sockets before I left though so following all their advice about soft cold food and salt rinses etc.

I'm an emotional wreck after the anesthetic though. Thought I was over it earlier, but himself walked in earlier on to find me in bits over that new pedigree ad about rescue dogs. Fingers crossed for waking up more stable tomorrow!

I hope you recover quickly! I fear having to get teeth removed :o
The emotional instability business must be kind of funny though :pac:

It will be. In hindsight :pac:

I just found it the weirdest experience, it was the anesthetic I was dreading, I was freaked out over the loss of control or something. Was really agitated and upset when I came around, the nurses were so lovely though

I've heard that whatever you state of mind is when you go under anaesthetic is your state of mind when you wake up. Not sure how true it is though!

I read that first and thought you meant that your true self comes out under anaesthetic and when you wake up that's your actual deep down personality. I was like oh no, I'm a psycho who cries at the drop of a hat! You nearly set me off again! :p

Oh noes I'm sorry :( You're not a psycho who cries at the drop of a hat, I swear! :pac:

Hope you get well soon anyway, look after yourself!

On the morphine thing...I definitely couldn't go about daily business while taking morphine. But I can't do anything while taking tramadol, either. And I'm allergic to codeine so it's my go-to when I'm in bad pain.
But, my mum can take both, with little to no effect on her day to day life...

I got teeth out when I was a kid and apparently I woke up screaming for a bath :pac:

Tramadol drove me to drink (not quite but you know what I mean)

At the worst of my leg injury I was taking six tylex a day which was 180mg of codeine which is the same as about 15 neurofen plus a day, and it didn't affect me at all once I got used to it, which took about two weeks.

I'm on tramadol and difene daily for the last 5 years and Valium at night so morphine was kinda the only thing that would work. So far it hasn't tho and I've taken 2 tablets since 4pm :(

I think bed rest and baths are probably the only thing going to work at this stage as I seem to be immune to most drugs.

Someone wanna donate their body to me pleeeeeease????

Jeepers Creepers :( I would take difene on a regular enough basis and thankfully, I'm ok with it....with tramadol, I have to take buscopan...I hate painkilllers

Did you know that morphine took it's name from the Greek God of Dreams, Morpheus? Bring on those dreams of good health pal ;)

Yup I fecked it up good and proper. I've been told about 50 times the last two days that I'm walking like I got rode by a horse.

Rest rest rest. Ice packs, baths with epsom salts, whatever works for you.

If you need anything you know I'm close by, so can do a supermarket shop or whatever if you need it, just shout.

What about physio? Can that help at all?

    :(

If Ellas back is that fooked, the most the physio can do at the start is to ease the pain a little and give her exercises.

I remember five months ago with my leg, it was all rest, do your exercises and slowly build it up, took about three months before going to the physio actually meant 2-3 days of being pain free :(
