so I did something kinda weird. I let the facial hair I've got grow out a little bit to see what it actually looks like. I'm supposed to let it grow for electrolysis anyway for like a day or two beforehand, and then I can't get rid of it for 2 days after, but this time I think I've actually gone a week. for science! :pac: so I kinda got something like granny whiskers, you can't even see them unless you look really close, 'cos they almost look kinda transparent or white even. so very strange.

fingers crossed they'll be completely gone soon enough anyway :p

I've probably got more facial hair than that at the moment. Every once in a while I wax it, you cant see it because its transparent, but when I have makeup and a bit of powder on my face it really shows them up.

I'm dedicated to getting it all permanently removed. since like 3 years ago I've blasted it with laser, then started getting electrolysis to clear up whatever's left. there's probably not too much left yet, but it's slow and tedious getting it done, 'cos they zap every hair individually and I can't stand it for more than an hour at a time I find it so painful :o

The day needs to end sooner. Came close to a panic attack there cause I couldn't get my desk drawer to open. What is wrong with me!

I did get it open, and got the vanilla chamomile tea out! Might calm me down.

I got laser done, it cost me €800, didn't work. :(

I'm going to be one of those grannies with a full beard.

PP have you been under loads of stress lately? Have you suffered panic attacks in the past?

There is nothing wrong with you! Thinking that there is is going to set of the panic attacks. Usually there is something in your life that is stressing you out at the moment so think about that.

Also maybe go to counselling. It helps for me. (feel free to PM me. I hate having the panic attacks)

In other news. DAMN PERIOD CRAMPS:mad:

The fuppers with the drums are back.

Hopefully this won't be an all night session...

(They had a party the weekend we were away, the drums in the garden didn't finish til 8am)

And apparently French neighbour nuisance laws are about as useful as Irish ones.

I've had many a panic attack don't worry! Just seemed silly over a drawer.

Got some terrible news from home today though. :( Going to visit for the weekend, won't be as fun as I'd hoped.

laser worked for me up to a point, then I had to start electrolysis. A friend of mine recommended this lady in Galway who is really amazing. the thing about laser is, it only works on certain hair types, but electrolysis works for all types.

I was warned it might not work on hormonal hair. I'm not sure if electrolysis is the same? My best bet would be the doctor but I don't want to go back on the pill and she prescribed some cream that made me break out in boils. It's a difficult thing for me to deal with and I am very aware that I don't have it as bad as others!

Pretty sure electrolysis would work, I know people with PCOS who've got it done, as well as someone who had a bad reaction to medication she was on. You might want to look into it.

I am dying from exercise overdose. My poor body wonders how it got away with it for 27 years only for me to beat the crap out of it now. Everything hurts!

I'll be hilarious in the pub tonight, need to pick a seat and stay there!

You'll have a blast. One drink and you'll be grinning like the village idiot and loving everyone. Alcohol is great when you're getting fit.

I'm thinking of getting Insanity. It looks frightening.

Ah ok. What part of Tanzania are you going to? Really want to go back and explore it properly!

A couple of days in the office in Dar es Salaam and then way way west to rural Ngara. Think it is a 16 hour jeep ride each way! Can't wait actually. Are you based in Lilongwe?

I probably won't be drinking, have work and lunch with a boardsie tomorrow. I drank a crapload last weekend though and was grand, I learned the perfect balance of tipsy/no hangover a few years ago, it's great when everyone else is dying around you the next day :)

    What's Insanity?

    Yay MCR :)

Nope, Mzuzu, up north. About 5hours from the Tanzania border.

    Hope you're ok PP.
