I really need to introduce my girlfriend to Ring and other Japanese horror movies :D

It wasn't one everyone liked, but I thought Dark Water was good :)

    (Love that film!)

    One of my all-time favourites.

"Just look at the state of my wife's brassicas!"

I even had to buy him a dreamcatcher to keep the nightmares away.*

*I'm aware that dreamcatchers are up there with angel statues and crystal balls, but we were desperate even for a placebo effect at that stage.

Ooh! We might make one of those later. Thanks for the idea. I had one when I was a teenager, it was just a lovely pretty thing that hung in my window.

Yay someone else liked it! :D It creeped the hell out of me.

Have you seen A Tale of Two Sisters? That nearly gave me a heartattack!

Yep. It didn't stick with me as much though I remember enjoying it.

Old Boy is pretty scary in its own way.

Poor James. The dreamcatcher sounds like a good idea, especially if he makes his own one and can add whatever he wants to it.

    Oh hell yeah! :D

But one of these days, I gotta ratchet it up a notch and show herself Ichi The Killer :pac:

Or make a double showing of that and Audition :D Be really evil!

Jaysus, Ichi the Killer was a mental film. Totally brilliant but mental. Lady Vengeance was also great though not sure if I got the title right?

The Ring scared the absolute crap out of me. And not the original one either. I made my OH sit in the bathroom with me while I showered for about 2 months after seeing it. :o

Even now when I'm washing my hair and have my eyes shut I have this irrational fear that when I open my eyes *SHE* will be standing there.

So I don't think I could cope with watching anything more scary!

Yep, same guy who made Oldboy, and a great film too! ;)

If anyone else wants to see a really, really good Korean movie, then watch I Saw The Devil!

It's amazing, I can't tell you just how good it is!

I was scared ****less after the episode of The Simpsons with Bart and his evil twin. The attic door was outside my room and I was convinced there was someone up there.

It seems that you're a different level of "horror watcher". I'm a hide behind the cushion and berate myself for even thinking to put it on type watcher and you actually enjoy them. We're worlds apart :D

What is your scariest film moment EVER.

Ok honestly, I'm on the "She was wearing dirty pink pyjamas" part. Should I go on?

I'm in the house alone and was terrified of the Ring film. Also have to hoover the stairs which is scary because I wouldn't hear if anyone sneaked up behind me.

Should I just stop now? :o

Also, nothing moves on the screen does it? And there is nothing like "do this 5 times or you'll die" at the end?

    /Wuss

Erm, probably yes. It's the only comic where I screamed out loud if that helps!

Oh I am actually scared really, REALLY easily, and I'm squeamish as hell too! Like it's not even funny, I'm freaked the hell out at the sight of blood in real life. I don't know, I just get a kick out of being scared. :p

I slapped the screen at the moving part and shut it down. Was there any more?

    COMICS SHOULDN'T MOVE

Apparently being frightened is very close to being horny. I think I read somewhere that the part of your brain which processes scary or violent things, is also the part that controls sexual urges. :D

(I'm too afraid to go off the boards screen at the moment to check)
