Did a car roof test. Around 2.5cms on top of the car. Dry here for now.

The March sun, if it breaks through, will make mincemeat of the snow!

    0.1c atm.

Sallins and Naas got a good dumping

Left Naas for Sallins at 5:45, only a few flakes in the wind. By the time I got to Sallins you could hardly see ! 3 - 4 cms I would say

Off to Dubberland to continue the snow watch now !

More heavy snow falling in Ongar right now. I'd say we have about 2.5 cms now.

I sm in Castleknock D 15 and there is a bit less than that. Snowing only slightly.

Snowing in Kilkenny city now - the car park has suddenly turned white! Not a heavy shower though, so grassy areas are still green.

After intermittent showers all night that didn't give much in the lines of accumulations, snow is now beginning to build on the runway and taxiways at Dublin Airport. Eugh, any day but the day I have to fly somewhere would have been great.

And now it's like a blizzard at the airport. Heavy snow with strong winds sticking everywhere. I'd say the visibility is close to if not below minimums and they may halt arrivals and departures during this shower

  • Registered Users Posts: 403 ✭✭acassells80

Around 2-3cm was left put down after that shower, most of it snow grains though. Snow grains does great things for getting a cover and bringing the temps down that ever 0.5c.

Pleasent surprise this morning, first full snow-cover of the winter :)
