Temperature here just the wrong side of 0 so just a patchy melting dusting.

Nice to see though with light snow falling :)

Snow stuck to some of the main roads in the city centre. Anyone on the morning commute I'd exercise a little caution. Footpaths are slippery too.

fingers crossed, few decent echoes could be about to push in near here.

Just drove from CityWest to Kilcullen on the N7 - bad conditions in City west, swept 5cm of snow off the car before leaving. The N7 was very white, everyone driving in the single pair of tracks cleared by the lorries. Stayed like that, with driving snow making bad viability until Naas, where the volume of snow fell off quite a bit and the road was much clearer. Road was fine after Naas south exit, with small amounts of lying snow in the fields. Same here in kilcullen, light covering of snow.

I'd say commuting to Dublin this morning would be rough....

The Dublin traffic cameras give a good indication of what fell in the greater Dublin area. Seems like city centre got nothing and southern/western areas got the most!

Most posters have their location under their username on the left hand side so that will tell you where they are. Those that don't should mention it however. :)

More heavy snow falling in Ongar right now. I'd say we have about 2.5 cms now.
