Use the OE1.6 version posted by givecredit at the bottom of the first page of this thread. Works well on 1.7.8, except no 4OD. I can't say whether it will work on 1.7.4.
I can confirm Working on 1..7.0. Including 4OD. But not on 1.7.4. Strange!

my rte player on ondemand doesnt play....just freezes.....i see this a LOT over and over again in the log....what does it mean ??

    gst_element_query_position failed in getPlayPosition

also...to explain more...i can get the menu's and listings of the videos on rte player up fine...it is only when it tries to play them...the player is stuck on 0.00 and doesn't play anything...and pressing stop gives the vix logo spinning and it takes around 7-8 minutes to go back to the previous screen...the listing of videos on rte player.

the rest of the ondeman plugin is fine...bbc iplayer, tv3 player etc..no issues.

also other streaming plugins like icefilms have no issue

    goodmorning
i am trying to get it working on a dm 8000, so downloading from feeds through the stb is no option.
isn't there any site (url) from which downloading a ipk-file is possible?
    thanks in advance

I guess there is no point and suggesting you make the change by hand as you've aleady posted a note on the actual Oe-alliance ondemand commit.

just curious, did you only change that one line or did you pull the whole file from the git?
did you delete the pyo and restart the box so it recompiles the py?

you can now also install the OE-Alliance OnDemand plugin directly into the BH 2.0.2 image with the following Telnet command as all dependencies and skin requirements are now in the BH image by default.

    init 4 && opkg update && opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemand && init 3

although i am not sure if the BH image contains the very latest updated version.

I would also like to personally thank the BH team for making OnDemand accessible to their users and look forward to a closer working relationship with them in the future.

I used this script on BH 2.0.2.d and my Solo2 crashed and I had to reinstall the image again. Am I missing something please?

On Dreamboxes there is no 4OD, but today I got een tweet from Freesat, stating that 4OD is now available for Freesat.
    http://www.freesat.co.uk/4-on-demand/
Does this mean it can come available for Dreamboxes, like my Dreambox 8000 with OpenPli 3?
