Once it's 3.0+ Android it will work on the Play Store unless its a locked down version like the tablets they make for kids.

Surely with that username you shouldn't need to ask anybody :pac:

But ya it does look better, although on the connectors part, it doesn't say it has a HDMI connection

Yeah I should! Just wanted to see if anyone could see any reasons not to buy it. Your right about the hdmi, no mention on the box or in the pics. Also couldn't get the code to work with that tablet so I may leave it. I really don't need it anyway!

Hope someone can advise me here cos I'm a compete tablet newbie! I was thinking of picking up a cheap tablet for when I go travelling in a couple of months, literally just want it for the odd bit of simple browsing, uploading some photos and maybe watching the odd video.
One other thing I was looking to do was use excel on it, through an app like Documents to Go, as I've got a simple kind of budget done out on it for my spending money etc and just be great to keep track of it as I go.

Would this tablet be up to these tasks does anyone know? My budget is fairly low for one as I really don't want to be devastated f I lose/break it along the way!

It should be able to handle Google Docs (Google Drive) no problem, and there are plenty of other budget specific apps too.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.docs

You'll just need Wifi access, as there's no (internal) SIM card option on this.
