    I like it though.

    Opinion seems split on Facebook, one guy saying would I tint the windscreen of my car.

    To clean up and tint the original would have cost more than the double bubble screen, so I said I’d try it as I have one already on my busa.

    Typical facebook warriors. Screen on a bike is generally not looked through and personally I think the double bubble suits the blade really well.

    It’s an enthusiasts page primarily for UK based people but with Irish contribution as well.

    Screen needed compound as was all kinds of oxidised. Image works did a decent job on the decals.

    Today I changed oil & filter. Filter was an absolute pig to remove. Used a strap wrench and it bent and buckled. Ended up putting a large wooley sock in between to get it off. Tut.

    Rode up and down the road then and gear changes feel better. Is this possible?

    Jayz it must have been welded on. It was the filter itself that buckled on me.

    I had a tough time getting it off, as per my previous post which I edited, it took me a while to get it off. The filter buckled? What make was it?

    Start getting worried when it's the colour of mud or even lighter! ;)

    Looks clean with fairings removed.
    Obviously I never got to check that far when I took it for a spin.
    Are you happy enough with it?

    The dreaded sludge? Never came across it in anything I’ve owned think god.

    She’s actually very clean underneath a bit of surface rust on the down pipes alright but that’s to be expected for her age plus being a northern Irish bike for 15 of her 18 years.

    I was going doing the plugs and coolant until it lashed out of the heavens, I’ll do it the next dry day we have.

    Very happy with it, even on the motorway the other night she pulled like a train.

    I was debating changing them but the issue seems to have been pads. Yeah I think you’re right in that they’ll bolt straight on.
