Jellyfish? I thought they were just water and evil.

It's the tentacles you eat. Nice in a salad.

    There's lots of food I haven't tasted.

This year, I did try sweet potato fries and french toast for the first time ever. Wasn't exactly bowled over by either.

Stealt Recce - Roasted Pumpkin is delicious.

Have tried most things but the one thing I really want to try is giant Panda before they go extinct.

Had some lovely Zebra just last week for the first time.

    Nature is my buffet.

Just curious about food and taste plus love to travel

Would love to try goat sometime. I've heard it's supposed to be amazing in a curry. Would anyone know of anywhere in Dublin that serves it or butchers that would stock it?

Never tried tripe, think it would turn my stomach!

Also I get a little squeamish when I see it, something to do with the pattern of holes. Makes me shudder.

Have never been able to bring myself to taste garlic bread or olives. It's weird because apart from those 2 I'm like a bin

I'm a pretty adventurous eater, and have had a lot of unusual meats, kudu is pretty tasty, but I find crocodile chewy. I'm a big fan of snails and haggis. I also love heart and kidneys.

I've had oysters, but didn't really like them, so would like to try them grilled next time. I love seafood in general, and I highly recommend getting your hands on some razor clams.

One thing I can't eat is spicy food. I just can't handle the pain. I'm a real wuss, and MonsterMunch is about as spicy as I can handle.

A priest once told me that snake tastes like chicken.

    Can anyone verify?

I've seen various versions of this dish served in the States but haven't come across it here, though I'm sure there's places that do something like it. Well worth trying if you're squeamish about raw oysters (& even if you're not!).

Never had aubergines, artichokes, caviar, fois gras, dates, beetroot and i'm sure alot more. Am i missing out on anything here? Would love to try caviar and fois gras just to see what the commotion is about...
Yes, I like most of the above.

    Caviar is totally overrated.

I have not tasted dog ( national dish of the Philippines I believe )

Interesting food not standard fare: kangaroo tail, crocodile, pheasant, wild boar, deer, frogs legs, snails, sea urchin, fish head curry, octopus, sushi, sashimi

Not worth trying in my opinion :
Insects, guinea pig , cucumber, melon, horse

I won't eat raw oyster anymore as I once had a bout of food poisoning from them; which was a shame, as I love the texture. I now have them baked or fried which isn't the same.

You, my friend, will do very well in the apocalypse. Or as waste disposal in the local abbatoir, if you ever need a new job.

There's a few Ethiopian restaurants around town now I think, far as I know they do goat with pretty much everything.

I haven't tasted any seafood other than whiting, cod, plaice, salmon and tuna.

I haven't tasted any meat/poultry other than basic cuts of beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, pork/ham etc.

I haven't tasted foie gras or caviar.

    I don't know of any fruit or vegetables I haven't tasted, but I'm sure there's a few.

For anybody who said they had not tried Sushi, Humous, duck, steak.....ya don't know what you're missing!

I've never had lobster, I do want to taste it and often thought about ordering it. But it's the whole thing of how to eat it that puts me off! (Before any smartass jumps in there, I'm capable of eating it, just not sure how to get into it if it came out kind of whole! :))
