Ordered on the 13th.
Order Received on the 20th.
Shipped on the 20th.

4th attempt at ordering. Looks like most orders going through ok now

Something interesting is that I tried to purchase an app on the UK play store and it came back with an error but the phone purchase went through fine anyway. So remain hopeful!

My Nexus 4 is a dud! The thing won't charge and keeps loosing the network, asking me for my SIM PIN

Time to send it back after only 12 hours with it!

Exact same normal gmail , added payment with PM address , and used tunnelbear the whole time.

I changed my google wallet billing address to the UK one specified by parcelmotel and using tunnelbear I can get the UK play store and add the nexus device to my cart but as soon as I sign in I get the following

"Sorry! Devices on Google Play is not available in your country yet.We're working to bring devices to more countries as quickly as possible.
Please check back again soon."

Any idea?

Try sign in before hand and then activate Tunnelbear, then see if you can see the devices.

There is no email to support about devices, You have to fill the form on the website.
I had the same problem. Turn on the tunnelbear, log in to your account and then go to google play support contact;)

Mine arrived yesterday. Amazed. Placed order last saturday. Got order receipt monday. Charge appeared on credit card yesterday €293 and phone in my hand same day.

I did change my billing address to Norn Iron address but did not change it with the bank, they told me they can only hold 1 address per card.

What is the difference between creating a new GMail A/C and using your existing GMail A/C after all they bare both JoeBloggs@GMail.com. If it is necessary to do this; how do you create a UK Gmail A/C anyway?

When you are creating the new account set the country to United Kingdom and use the Parcel Motel address. Then go to the play store using tunnelbear and login in with your new UK account. That's what worked for me anyway.

Assuming the order goes through and all is OK. Are there any issues with setting up your Nexus 4 with your normal Irish Gmail A/C? Also; is it necessary to use Tunnelbear when checking your UK Gmail A/C. I know that you will be no technical problem in checking it, but what I really mean is would checking it from an Irish IP address raise any suspicions. Also would it be OK to delete the UK Gmail A/C immediately after it served its purpose?

There won't be any issues setting up the Nexus 4. Just log in using your normal gmail account.
I kept checking my UK account from here without using tunnelbear. I did wonder that myself weather they would check something like that but it didn't cause any problems for me.

I can't see any problem deleting your UK one if you wanted but you might require it for when the Nexus 5 comes out

My order appear to have gone through very smoothly.

Here's what I did:
1) Set up tunnelbear and Parcel Motel.
2) Created a new Gmail account while tunnelbear was switched on. I then went to wallet and put in PM as my address and as the credit card address and put in my actual credit card number details. For my phone number i put in the number of an old English sim I haven't used in over a year
3) Went to play and ordered the phone

I ordered last night and got an email today saying it had been shipped. The only problem was I didn't think it had gone through first time so pressed buy again and I accidently ordered two and it didn't let me cancel the second so I'll just have to try and sell the second one.
