Nexus 4 ordering process

I tried to order an app and a book on the UK play store where my N4 order is pending since 7th Feb and both times I got the below message:



It's not looking promising that I'll get this phone at all

Off to adverts.ie to look for a reasonably priced one, I think :pac:

Ordered via my normal Google Account (which has been set to Ireland for the last few years).

1) Using Tunnelbear I registered my AIB Mastercard CC with Google Music (when prompted i said UK and entered a UK postcode - I just used the PMs postcode BT36 4PE...it looks like they dont check it against your CC details because I hadnt done anything about registering PM with AIB at this stage).

2) Set up my google wallet with the PM address as my home address (minus my PM ID). Added the PM address with my PM ID as an additional address. Added my IRL phone# to both.

3)Set up my AIB cc as a payment method using the PM address and a UK phone (friends UK#)

4) Rang AIB and added PM address to my card as a note.

5) Within minutes of getting off the phone I was on the play site and placed my order via UK site using Tunnelbear VPN. (note I initially added my IRL # in the billing section and it wouldnt go through - said there was an unknown error. repeated the process using my friends UK number and it went through. Not sure if that was the issue but could have been - also have rang her and she hasnt heard a peep from google on her number so if this is one issue you could try to get round it by adding in a random UK #)

Did 1),2) and 3) on the evening of 12th. Next morning did 4) and 5) - order placed at 8:15 on 13 Feb 13.
Shipment went through and got a pending notification within minutes and confirmed as shipped later the same day (17:30).
Yipeeeee. So all looks like its on its worked and the phone is on its way, and all within 24 hours.

Did you check in your google wallet,when my apps were cancelled they still showed up in there as completed but the order status was cancelled.. I was able to click on that order in google wallet which let me see a message saying my account was on hold..

I used my own gmail account which ive been using for years..

It mentions nothing about being on hold, just the following info:

Google has cancelled your order. You won't be charged.
Reason: Other (describe below)
Comments from Google: "We were unable to process your order."

I don't know what going on any more :pac:

Got the same message last thurs (7/2/13) for my original order (placed on 3/2/13 using a new uk gmail account). Decided to cancel that order on Sat (9/2/13) and placed a new order using my existing gmail account hoping that having a history would make a difference. Still stuck at the pending stage in wallet. Grrrr!!!! Really starting to hate this not knowing s h i t e *. Would prefer if they would either cancel or bloody well process the order!

When you place the order is the money taking off the card straight away or do they wait until your order is confirmed?

I ordered two phones (Nexus4 8GB) yesterday at 8PM. Everything went smoothly-so thanks to all of you for your posts;)
The order receipt form Google Play says:
"Estimated Ship: Less than one week".
But the order status is PENDING, so will see what happens.

Should I get any other emails if everything will be OK or NOT?

Same happened to me yesterday so I cancelled the order.
Now ebay is my next option I guess...

I placed order yesterday evening and it says LESS THAN A WEEK, Hope I will get it...

Hey, where are you seeing that it was signed for and that you are "nearly there"...

As per your tracking screen print, I have had exactlt the same been showing up since Monday and nothing from Parcel Motel yet....I got the shipped mail from Google last Friday after ordering Thursday night....
Where yours says arrived 13th on last line, mine says 11th, but not a peep from PM yet tho, so seems strange ?

I actually emailed and rang UTI directly with the tracking number (top left) of the package and they told me it was passed to Parcel Motel today. I then emailed Parcel Motel and they told me I would get a text later today. 30 minutes after that, my PM account updated with it being in Belfast and the image.

Ring UTI on +353 (1) 808 1516 and say you're looking to track your order and they should have some information for you

Ordered on Friday the 8th of February, emailed shipping information on Tuesday the 12th and reached Parcel Motel today the 14th at 11:30AM.

I rang UTI who confirmed it had been signed for by Stuart at PM on Tuesday, but it looks like I (for some reason) put a number I had written down on paper beside my PMID down in the order, so it is sitting in limbo somewhere in PM in Antrim:(
Have rang PM and they will ring back tomorrow hopefully....would have had it by now but for my inputting the incorrect number..doh...!! :rolleyes:

Mine arrived in Dublin this morning with an ETA of 14th February for delivery in Belfast. To anyone that's been through it before, can I assume Parcel Motel will have the package delivered the next day after it's been received by them?
