Bang on man, my order is still pending and was placed with a Visa Credit Card. Kinda crappy how some people were told their order was placed and then cancelled a few hours later
I'm still dubious that this is a random act by Google, have a feeling something is automatically triggering the check. Has anyone who got cancelled first time succeeded subsequently? Can someone who has one already answer this? How is the memory organised? Can you use the whole 16GB for apps if you want or is there internal and external like older android phones.
Same as any other android device really.
There is an sdcard directory in the root dir as usual which it's your internal storage.
Here's mine...
I have to say I don't think the 8gb is enough. Like asphalt 7 has a 1.3gb additional file which you can't delete if you want to play it, a few games like that and your 8gb it's full.
I know my nexus 7 doesn't like when it drops below 3gb free, not sure if it's a problem with nexus 4, haven't gotten the 16gb down to it yet. Might put a few movies on it later to get it below 3 and see how it does.0 -

Mine was cancelled, two possibilities I can think of,
1. I had used the visa debit card once before on an Irish registered account
2. I had set the billing info to parcel motel, I'm thinking this is the most likely cause of the cancellation, probably should have only used it for the shipping address and just stuck my Irish address with a uk postcode, although I thought I read a few posts back someone tried this and theirs was also cancelled.
Mine was never used before with google. It's been 2 days since I placed the order though, and they've actually taken the money from my account. Seriously hoping they don't cancel it, I was in the 1-2 week shipping group 0 -
Can you confirm a few things?
Is your Visa a debit or a credit card?
Did you set up a new Google Wallet account?
Were you using Tunnelbear/Other VPN when you created the Google Wallet account?
Is there anything in setting up a Google Wallet account that might help?
Yes, its a Visa debit.
Yes, I set up a new Google wallet account.
Yes, I used Tunnelbear when creating the account.
Just went through the process again and here's a few screen shots of how I set it up!
Start up tunnelbear
Go to wallet.google.com and click sign up
next screen
when you've entered your details in click accept
next screen
click edit and enter your details
You should see the address like this now
Once that's all done go to the settings cog up in the top right corner
Update the home address entry the same as your billing address
Then finally click on the billing and shipping address tab and add a new address
Enter the parcel motel details like above and you should be good to go!0 -
