Folks - I've read lots of your fabulous breakfast receives here - so thanks for them!

I struggle with breakfast and was wondering do ye have any suggestions for me. I do eat porridge - but get sick of it very quickly.

    Criteria are:
    - breakfast in work, so only access to boiling water and a microwave
    - don't eat/like eggs (fine for baking)
    - can't have milk or other dairy (and after years of trying all other dairy versions I can't stand almond/coconut/soya etc variations). I could tolerate a small bit of yoghurt.

Looking for something nutritious and filling!

    Thanks!

I had some leftovers from a bacon, cabbage & potato dinner last week. On Saturday, I diced up the remainder of the bacon & spuds, added half a chopped onion & formed it into patties with some seasoned flour & a beaten egg. I fried the bacon hash patties until crisp on both sides & then topped them off with a fried egg.

I'd love to have this creativity with food!

How about making some granola bars for yourself? There's a wealth of recipes out there.

Also, could you invest in a cheap toaster for work? Then you can have all kinds of toasted things with jam/Nutella/avocado for your brekkie. :)

    I got my oats today.

Fruity porridge, jazzed up with honey and the last of the wild summer blackberries which I had foraged for locally. Sweet.

No healthy eating in sight at chez Bot this morning:. A nice slice of standard white pan fried until golden and crispy in beef dripping and served with a fried egg.

Almost tempted to go back for seconds :D

This morning I had a naughty breakfast. Two locally made sausages slow fried in the pan. Two slices of Denny bacon and a free range fried egg on top of FRIED BREAD!

Buffybot is responsible. That fried bread was divine.:D

Before heading to the gym a nice bowl of microwave made porridge with dried fruit, banana and some cinnamon added.

    20161106-09491478444099.jpg

After gym I had some lovely Pan Con Tomate made with an Aldi par baked baguette sliced in half lengthwise then toasted, rubbed with fresh garlic, drizzled in extra virgin olive oil and then covered in grated ripened tomato with sea salt cracked over it. Yum

Not actual photo of mine but close!!

Yesterday smoked rashers with oat pancakes and home-made apple sauce, with coffee and a green smoothie. This morning was a slice of toast with jam while running out the door.

I went nuts again this Sunday morning!

Fried egg on the oul fried bread. (Blame Buffybot) A couple of slices of bacon. Whelans white pudding, mushrooms and beans. Also had a few slices of buttery toast with it. Washed it all down with full fat milk, followed by a dark chocolate digestive biscuit.

    I have no shame!

Yesterday - I had French toast with a couple of drops of syrup and some really nice sausages, then Greek yogurt, blueberries and raspberries, and a particularly crisp pink lady apple.
Today - had usual austerity breakfast!

More of a brunch really; eggs baked in a garlicky tomato sauce with artichoke, baby corn, and spinach.

Kept it nice and simple with a oozy yolk poached egg on buttery wholemeal toast.
