Yeah he has now gone back to join up with the Portugal squad for the confederations cup. But he is done ;)

This is not trolling lads, but honestly ... that looks more like a signing aimed at overhauling Aberdeen as the second best team in Scotland rather than catching us.
Signing Joey Barton last year was a much braver signal of intent, albeit it didn't work out because, well, he's Joey Barton.

Small steps is the only option at the moment.
To overtake Celtic in one go will be impossible, unless a ton of money is invested in the squad. You guys paid 3.5m for Sinclair alone, that simply isn't available at Rangers.

Not just that but pretty much everything that was done under McCoist and Warburton has to be undone. **** players have to be replaced in every part of the squad.

As for Aberdeen: They look set to lose a ton of players + McInnes, I think Rangers will overtake them this season.

He was excellent in Narcos, doesn't always play by the rulebook but gets results.

Good work on the signings. Delighted we got Jack signed and sealed. Nice interview with him after signing in the local paper in Aberdeen. Seems like a decent and well rounded lad.

Beat me to it. Any idea how much he actually went for? Probably for the best. Not going to fit in to our new side and he always a risk for a red in a game. Any news on Waghorn moving on? He is going to move on also, I expect.

Think there will be a few moving on.

Happy enough with that draw. Cyprus would be a lovely trip.

Haven't heard anything apart from the announcement that we are sticking with 32Red for sponsorship. Not overly attentive when it comes to new kits, if I am honest.

7 year retail deal with SD ripped up :D

A 1 year deal now which allows fans to buy kits.

"The Rangers Football Club Limited (TRFC) and Sports Direct (SD) are pleased to announce that they have terminated all prior agreements between them and entered into a new commercial arrangement on terms substantially different from the terminated agreements. As part of the new arrangements, the Rangers Retail Limited (RRL) joint venture between TRFC and SD has ended and, going forward, TRFC will deal directly with SD."

"The financial arrangements between the parties are transformed. TRFC will now receive by far the majority of net profits from the retail operations at the Megastore and Webstore together with an equal share of all net profits from sales through SD."

"Supporters now have certainty that any money they spend on Rangers products will be hugely beneficial for the Club."

New strip wont be out for a while seemingly due to lead times

Hearing the home kit will be used this season one reason being it had to be registered for Europe but away kits will be brought out in due course

Half thinking about buying one to mark the occasion. The home kit will be good for the season ahead, as Broxi posted.
