    whats the "1872" for? haha

I think you are being quite disingenuous tbh.

I think it's nice to have a shop like that for those wishing to purchase some footballing nostalgia. :pac:

and so what? Unirea are listed at 107 and they were dissolved in 2011. They no longer exist, yet are still on the list so sorry what exactly is your point?

There's a market for Belfast Celtic gear, and their gone since 1949. Nostalgia sells alright:pac:.

The fact that Rangers are still getting points ?

No idea why Unirea got them though.

But rich to see Dempsey use the 'clutching at straws' one.

edit: Apparently every team that participated in Europe in the last 5 years gets a percentage added from the total of teams that play in Europe of said year, so Rangers get a percentage for whatever Celtic and other Scottish teams did.

I don't see a 'The Rangers FC' in that list though :pac:

Maybe not the best argument I've ever used :p

Explain how you have coefficient points for last season

The Rangers FC never played in Europe.. really not the strongest argument I've seen..

also I believe they used to call those shorts knickerbockers

Jesus will you guys never give up on this sh!te?

The fact you're in here at every opportunity proves more than anything that they are the same club

Yes, because all the Celtic fans in here do it for 'the humour', right ? :D

RoryMac is spot on, the way some of you go on about it shows more than anything that it's still the same club as before.

I mean, why go on about a new club in this way ? ;)

Not being a troll but would people not regard it as the same club. I'm an inter fan and in Italy lots of clubs have gone into administration reformed and are considered the same club. Same stadium, same colours, same fans, jus with a slightly different name. I know in Italy they are legally considered the same club, is this the same for Rangers, haven't followed it too closely. Personally I would consider them the same club.

And to think Craig Whyte bought the whole OldCo set up for a mere £1. Wonder how much it costs for a shot on the bus??

RANGERS have added another key date to their pre-season schedule as they are heading to Tayside to face Dundee on Wednesday, July 31.

The Light Blues have accepted the offer to travel to Dens Park to help the Dark Blues celebrate their 120th anniversary.
The match will fall between the Ramsdens Cup first round tie with Albion Rovers, scheduled for July 27, and the first round of the League Cup, which has yet to be drawn and due to he held on Saturday, August 3.
And it looks like it will be an opportunity for manager Ally McCoist to play most if not all of his new signings as he is restricted to using only two as trialists in competitive matches before September 1 due to the SFA registration embargo.
Dundee, of course, have just exited the top flight having been thrown into the SPL last year at the last minute following the turmoil at Rangers when they were refused a return to the Premier League following the formation of a newco.
Former Rangers star John Brown came close to saving them last season when he came in as boss on February 23 with the Dens men 15 points adrift. Three wins in April gave them hope but relegation was confirmed with three matches to go.
Ally McCoist said: "We are delighted to take a team to play Dundee at Dens Park for their 120th anniversary match. Dundee, like Rangers, has a proud history and I am sure it will be a good game for the supporters to enjoy.
"We enjoyed our 140th anniversary celebrations last season at Ibrox against Stirling Albion and I am looking forward to meeting up with my old friend John Brown at the match."
Brown said: "Rangers have added some real quality during the close season and whilst this is an occasion to celebrate our history, it will also be a real test for our squad in preparation for a season where we intend to do very well. I hope the fans turn out in numbers to enjoy the occasion."
Ticket information will follow in due course.
The official site stating you're a Newco???

Newco is short for new company I'm sure you're aware, new company but still the same club.

One year down the line and you're still trolling with the same nonsense, don't know why I bothered logging back in here, it's never going to change, Celtic fans still prefer to talk about us.

34000 Season Tickets sold so far. Have to say I am pleasantly surprised by this I really thought there would be a significant fall off this season after the initial groundswell of support.

Need to sell another few thousand in order for this season's bar to appear on Ally's chart for this season :D

Considering as with other clubs half season tickets get taken into account I reckon we will get there.
Even if we don't I still think its a great show of faith in the club by the fans ;)

Fair enough whatever pleases you. Personally I find a Pic of someone pushing season ticket sales boring I know I tend to just glance at them and skip the tic ones

Thats not what i get a giggle out of as you well know. Mind you, it shows how gullible they think their fans are

Nah can't read minds plus I don't care. That goes for all clubs I really fail to see the big deal about it

lol, i absolutely love how up in arms sellik fans get over that advert, without actually thinking about that simple fact - IT'S AN ADVERT, A COMMERCIAL.
Nowhere does it state that it is a mathematical representation of the numbers of season ticket's sold.
