That version of autotimers is missing an option to filter the search "only on weekday" from the import fromCoolTVGuide wizard which makes it awkward to add after as a filter. There are versions with this option but I'm not finding. I've tried others but the green screen the box because they are missing dependencies

What image are the plugins for? Is it ChampionC's AR-P image or TechGuy's Hyperion V3 image?

When you are sending them by FTP do you have to select where they go?

Started from scratch again today, I now have a very nice clean image built with the image he uploaded late last night, but have a bug or two to overcome before it's perfect. CoolTVGuide menu green screens every time, I'm going to try another version now.

MartinXP has also added autotimers and the two required system plugins to the plugin repository, but it's bugged and does not show in plugins once installed so add the one above first, then download the one in the repo after (it adds the extra "only on weekday" setting).

I need to get CoolTVGuide opening with the EPG button but I don't want to use MultiQuickButton as it causes too many issues. I've copied across my own keymap.xml I used on the last image but it's not working this time. Anyone got another to try or have any input?

HELP!!! Problem with my Amiko Alien 2 setup. Followed pogmothoin setup, with enigma2. Everything was working perfect, but for some reason EPG is no longer working. I might get now and next sometimes, but generally nothing. Any suggestions??? Also looking to mount hard drive, but i'll go through this thread first to see if there is already info posted on that

Is your EPG set to auto update overnight or at some scheduled time?

Pogs guide is ancient and completely outdated get champion or Techguys image from the firmware thread all the work is done for you

Fixed the green screen in CoolTVGuide, it was an out of memory error, enabling a swapfile fixed it. I nearly have a perfect image now, all I'm needing now is a decent keymap that maps CoolTVGuide to the EPG button. I'll upload the image for others tonight if I can sort this.

I set a timer earlier to record a movie and can confirm it recorded glitch free. The media player is snappier than before, moving up to x32 fastforward and returning to play sped is much smoother than on other images, seems flawless. This is the best image I've tried, seems smoother than any Open-ar-p or Hyperion images I've tried

70ms is fine for a ping I'd say.

Gareth, could you describe your setup a bit better? You have a box with a wifi dongle attaching to a mi-fi dongle or something? When you ran the ping test, you were doing that from a pc?

I got something similar to wi-max after the mobile broadband and that was fine too.

sorry only online now due to terrible O2 mobile broadband! currently tethered up to my phone which is doing a better job even though its O2 aswell! i have a mobile broadband modem thinging (hotspot?) and that is connected via wifi to a vonets wifi bridge plugged into the box. i am getting pixelateing every 30 seconds ish and the odd freeze, incredibly frustrating to say the least, ping test was from the laptop which was also connected via wifi to the modem, best i managed was 42 ms but the picture was still as bad

Yes, but I hate it because it opens every time you accidentally press an unmapped button (or long press one that is mapped but not mapped for a long press), I want to edit the xml so it's just one change and permanent

No, v3. Haven't got around to making a complete v4 image yet. It still has a few small bugs which I'd like to be sorted before I tell people to upgrade. To be honest there is very little difference.

No worries I'm switching between that and champs latest one and they are both going great for me, Vodafone fixed line broadband ordered today with a 7 day cooling off period just in case it's s***e! Cheers

try this one. I rebuilt a hdmu map to work with the hyperion image to include shortcuts to the timer and recordings. (on the f2 and f3 buttons)(for some reason, when I tried to alter the hyperion keymap, it just wouldn't work, so after must frustration, I started with the hdmu keymap and merged the functions)
I renamed it to a .doc file so I could upload here. Hope its of use

Working for Irish terrestrial on T+ tuner (set to Italy, do a full scan if you're not on Cairns Hill)
Working VFD on latest boxes (no red recording icon though)
Oscam (edit your details to the oscam.server file and restart oscam in Alternative SoftCam Manager plugin)
Autobouquets (set to London HD, older version not from repo that adds correct channel numbers in bouquets, 401 SS1 etc)
Rats picon updater (not working at present, repo down)
Picons (rats picons for satellite and ones for Irish terrestrial)
Hddmountmanager (external is mounted in /hdd)
CrossEPG (daily 7AM)
CoolTVGuide
Autotimers
Samba server
Webinterface
Virtual Zap (set to exit button)
Cache flush (set to 15mins)

Not done:
No remote mapping for CoolTVGuide, will update with better keymap later fixed
1Channel, TSMedia, RTE player etc (I don't usually add them as they do not stay working for long before needing update)

A/V is set to 720p 50HZ
Be sure to create a 256MB swapfile in hddmount manager plugin on first boot

I didn't try Hyperion v4 because of reports of bugs but this is the best and fastest image I've tried.

I don't have 2x satellite feeds in my kitchen and couldn't be arsed messing around under the TV in my sitting room so can someone confirm both tuners work for $ channels at the same time and record stream etc.
