    Hi all!

I am back to weight watchers (again) and hopefully I will hit goal this time! Last time I was 2 pounds off and ended up giving up!! Kicking myself now!!

I am 24 5'6 and currently weight 10 stone 12 pounds so about 5/6 pounds to gold!

Is anyone doing the ww at home? would love to get your opinion

    Sarah

Thanks Everyone for all your help & suggestions. Im defo gonna try the homemade soup - the Chicken & Veg sounds good! But I presume Im counting the Chicken part of it!

And Im going to try some low fat yoghurt pots. Im staying well away from those Muller Low Fat rice's!! Their so deceiving!

Also, this morning, i was so tired arriving to work, so I got myself a bottle of lucozade for a pick me up. It wasnt until i calculated the 380ml original bottle, i realised that its 7points!!!!!!!!!!!

A strong coffee with skimmed milk, will be my preferred option in future!!

Its all trial & error but I think we all ye're help, I'll get there x :)

    Hey all,

So i've only posted here once before but I am in a bit of a conundrum... Although this may seem like a minor moan but I really need a kick up the a***. Got to my goal with WW which is 10 stone 12 - I am 5'9. I have maintained for three weeks now so think I get my gold (not sure what way that works - will deff ask at next meeting).

I reaalllly want to lose roughly another 12 pounds, to be honest it has been an age since I've been that low and I just want to push myself if possible but since reaching goal I've lost all motivation. Need to make myself get back on track but for some reason I can't. I lost 13 pounds on WW to get down to goal so I should be able to do it al over again.... HELP!

Has anyone been in this position? Does anyone find it hard to keep motivated? I know this is basically a giant moan but I suppose if you can't do it here then where can you?!

So got the biggest shock on the scales tonight, and not in a good way. I'm not gonna say anymore as I'm quite upset about it. Lets just say it was a BIG gain... After quite a good week. I was just wondering if anyone knows or has experienced weight gain as a result of medication such as antibiotics or the pill? Also have my totm coming up this week too. I know its somethin to do with water retention.. :( Have been getting quite stressed/run down the past week or two and am on my second dose of antibiotics (I still lost weight on the first dose last week) for a different thing... Came out of todays meeting really shocked, confused, annoyed and disheartened, as I was just 2 pounds off goal and wasn't expecting a gain, nevermind a large gain...

Back from my holliers and dreading WI tomorrow :o I'm hoping its only a couple of pounds. My clothes havent really gotten much tighter on me, and I wasn't to bad food wise - but I drank most days, lots of beer and sweet cocktails. And my plan of getting back on track the second I land havent really panned out :-/ Was off work today and TOTM due so was craving food all day. Back to work tomorrow so back to structure and routine. Back to tracking and getting weighed tomorrow night and no matter what the results will get the weight all back down ASAP!

Still gonna be a wreck all day tomorrow waiting to see the damage!!:(

I do WW from home but not the official WW at home programme. Its not easy as its much easier to slip up but it is doable. My advice is get someone who you are accountable to every week to tell your WI results i.e. your mum or a close friend. TRACK everything and try and do as much exercise as possible. It also helps if you write down the reasons you want to lose the weight or think of a horrible 'fat' memory or even get a cheap dress a size smaller to motivate you. Mine at the moment is that my work trousers are really tight on me after gaining at the start of the summer :o but I refuse to buy a bigger size so I'm motivated to fit properly into them before I leave at the beginning of October!

Sorry about that Taz. I do not what it's like to have a big gain but unfortunately I don't have the excuse of antibiotics. I think first off you need to look at what exactly caused you to gain the weight, was it food/drink wise or was it because of the antibiotics? If it was food then you need to track, plan and exercise (sounds simple but I know its not easy!). If it was due to TOTM and antibiotics then don't worry because it more than likely is an artificial gain and should come off easy enough. Most importantly though you need to focus on getting better. Your health is most important and getting stressed out isn't going to help. Once you come off the antibiotics you will be able to get back on track. Even if you had lost tonight you still couldn't really count it as being sick tends to throw our bodies off its normal routine :( Hope you feel better soon!

Also if you have been good and it is just a complete shock you may find that you lose all of that and more next week.
I found that a couple of times on WW that I gained a few lbs and was really disheartened for a week but then lost it all the following week, and then some. :)

Also, you have said that you exercise a lot and I'm wondering if there is a chance that you are not eating enough?
I know that sounds silly but it's easy for your body to start holding onto everything you're eating if you're not giving it enough fuel to exercise!!

Thanks EabhaBear. I'm almost certain it can't have been food thats caused the gain because I tracked absolutely everything, ate quite well all week, treated myself to a big pasta dish and 3 drinks on Friday night which I gave most of my dailies and some of my weeklies too. Exercised 5 out of 7 days, drank my 2 litres of water evrey day etc. I even ended up with about 25 weeklies left. I'd usually have some left over and still lose weight.. So I'm really hoping its an artificial gain.

I really hope thats the case dammitj. Yeah I do exercise alot and it used to happen to me before that I'd sts alot because I wasn't eating enough for how much I was exercising, hence why I now eat my activity points on the day that I earn them (only get one or two) as my body literally needs them, and I've started losing again because of that, so I don't think thats the problem...

Because I'm sick and put on such a large amount I'm so tempted just to give up and binge! :(

Oh dont do that, its definetly something funny that made you gain this week if you had been that good just try to be good again this week and i know how hard this can be when something like that happens but i really think you will be shocked next week. I had 2 weeks of holiday that i enjoyed foodwise way to much but after that i had a loss of 1/2lb on the scale which was crazy. Anyway 3WEEK later after having a really good week tracking and exercise i was up 1.5lbs, but i presumed it was just the holiday catching up on me but the following week i lost 4 which was a very big surprise!!! Our bodies are funny sometimes, but please just give it one week and see what happens at weight in next week, i think you will be surprised. Best of Luck

Hi Taz, i/ve too just finished a dose of antibiotics and had been having a really good week tracking wise and yesterday had a sneak preview on a very reliable set of scales which always weigh same as ones in my class and was up 3lb totally gutted so ate all around me yesterday and last night prob about 3 weeks worth of points now i just feel stupid and bloated and not even sure i want to go to class tomorrow so i would say to you DONT do wot i did it's not worth it but i also feel anti biotics had to have done the damage because i tracked so carefully (even weighed out 10g low low for my toast)

Thanks!! I def enjoyed it and it's worth a few pounds being up. A few of y friends are surprised I'm going back tonight knowing I'll be up, but it's the only way. Accept the damage and move on is my way! Only a couple of hours and I'm out of my misery lol. My leader text me today saying they have a new challenge starting tonight so excited to hear bout tht!

Can totally understand where your coming from, ive been having some great weeks at ww, few weeks ago i had a minor hospital procedure where they told me i could suffer from some bloating etc after but for the first few weeks i was fine, this week has been my best yet, ive counted every point hardly touched my weeklies, drank enough water to sink a ship and im so bloated i think im going to explode, painkillers and antibiotics and hormone treatments (the pill) def have a lot to answer for when it comes to our weight, im so not looking forward to my weight in tomorrow, like you i think its going to be very upsetting after all my hard work. Don't worry things can only get better, that goal is still within your grasp this is just a small set back, you'll do great

I'm up 2.5 - it most def could be worse so I'm happy enough. All organised for the week. Made the chickpea and butternut squash stew I posted on my blog a while back - only I added loads more veggies to bulk it out loads. So lunches for the week sorted. Did my lidl shop so ready for dinners, breakfasts and snacks all preplanned for the week. So lets see how much of that 2.5 comes down this week. Fingers crossed :o

I did a 5K last night as part of Fit4Life and didn't come home and eat loads so mini triumph for me ha ha!

Really looking forward to next week's one now - they are running them every week for 4 weeks so it's a nice challenge.
Plus yoga starts again tonight - here's hoping I get to goal in the next few months!

    :D

Back again! I have put on a stone since March. My clothes are getting tight and I'm terrified I'm going to end up a big blob once again.

SW this time is 14 stone 13.5lbs, I will never forgive myself if it goes over 15. No way, not again. Fell into horrific bad habits and any time I DID manage to stick to it for a few days I reward myself with beer and crisps. I'm a fool!

Day 1 today. Bought a gorgeous new notebook for tracking.

On the positive, I'm a non-smoker for 4 months now!

I lost my purple book :(

Went back to my lovely meeting this am. Am saying for the millionth time that I'm getting back on track. If I don't manage to cop myself on over the next few weeks, I'm going to officially declare myself a non member, and stop wasting my time and money pretending to be a weight watcher!!!

    Reasons I want to Succeed
I've been getting lots of compliments since I went back to work about how well I look, and how much weight I've lost
I worked hard to lose my 3 stone... I don't want to undo it
I want to be a success at this. I want to finish what I started, and lose the remaining 2.5 stone
I like the idea of being able to wear whatever clothes I want
I don't want to find myself having to go and buy massive clothes
I like that I'm fitter now than I was before I was pregnant
I don't have to hide from the camera now when someone is taking a photo
I have my little boy now, and he deserves a happy healthy Mammy
He also deserves to grow up in an environment where fruit and vegetables are around him, and to get the gift of healthy eating
I want to continue alone this journey with my Mam. We started it together in January, and we'll finish it together

    Reasons I should Sabotage Myself
I like the taste of chocolate too much for my own good
    I'm starting to get lazy

It's all a bit of a no brainer really, isn't it?

Good luck everyone with this weeks weigh ins!!:D

So am I back from holidays and my break of WW. I have been on my break since 17th of August. I am came off it the week prior to going on hols on the 30th completely.

It was always my plan to lose as much as I can prior to my hols and then when on hols eat like a pig no matter how good I thought I would be ( would never happen ). With that I am happy that I properly pigged out it was my hols and I was determined to enjoy every minute. Any how back on the wagon and back in the WW game, and I am determined to drop my pounds again by the time Xmas rolls around. I put on 6 pounds which I am happy with as I did hardly any excercise and ate insanely bad crap.

My weight currently is 15st 12lbs, my last weigh in before coming off was 15st 5.8lbs.

So I am back in the game its back doing what I do best :)

    Good to be back.

That is brillant you should print out them reasons and put them up somewhere you can see them all the time like the fridge door. I can completely agree with you on the last few about your son. I have a son and daughter and that is totally what is motivating me. I want to be healthy and happier for them, Best of luck ;)

So I am just home from an unexpected two night stay in hospital where needless to say WW was kinda pushed aside. Hoping to try get back on track as much as I can tomorrow, but odds are going to be against me for the next while as I've to go from exercising 5/6 times a week to not exercising at all for at least 3 weeks :( but I guess my health comes first.... Congrats to everyone on weight losses this week.
