Week back on track is going well. Used a few of my weeklies today but being really good and nothing mad going on that will push me over the edge - hopefully not anyway!

My boss has decided that we are doing pilates every friday morning, payed for by them which is amazing. But today was the first day and didnt I have to go and end up practically fainting. I got really dizzy when we went to do sit ups and got sent home from work before the day started. Wasnt expecting pilates to be so tough going and the office got really hot, and I probably should have eaten more than a banana before. Felt like a bit of an idiot, they were all fussing over me - felt so stupid. But anyway - hopefully the pilates will go better next friday cos it was really good up until the dizzy part.

Keeping on track but wanted a bit of a friday treat so made home made chicken nuggets and chips! They worked so much better than I thought - very delicious. And only 11pp altogether. ?ui=2&ik=1148a5d3a7&view=att&th=139c6b84d460b863&attid=0.1&disp=inline&safe=1&zw&saduie=AG9B_P8q1O-KP6B1O8NA6IpQc-rS&sadet=1347659586530&sads=cPblWJGxyBFxVzvuQE-zhxKUk6A

I made these today and they were yum! I've an awful feeling mine were more than 2 pp each though. I wonder if I used a different brand of pastry to you or something? I had them eaten before I thought to question it!!

Hey,

I used jus roll brand but if each sheet u used was 3 u only used half or a quarter. I'm just thinking the 1 I used was deffo 1 pp per sheet. I'll double check on Monday and let u know but I remember calculating it? I'll let u know but I'm glad you liked them :-)

Went back to my lovely meeting this am. Am saying for the millionth time that I'm getting back on track. If I don't manage to cop myself on over the next few weeks, I'm going to officially declare myself a non member, and stop wasting my time and money pretending to be a weight watcher!!!

Reasons I want to Succeed
I've been getting lots of compliments since I went back to work about how well I look, and how much weight I've lost
I worked hard to lose my 3 stone... I don't want to undo it
I want to be a success at this. I want to finish what I started, and lose the remaining 2.5 stone
I like the idea of being able to wear whatever clothes I want
I don't want to find myself having to go and buy massive clothes
I like that I'm fitter now than I was before I was pregnant
I don't have to hide from the camera now when someone is taking a photo
I have my little boy now, and he deserves a happy healthy Mammy
He also deserves to grow up in an environment where fruit and vegetables are around him, and to get the gift of healthy eating
I want to continue alone this journey with my Mam. We started it together in January, and we'll finish it together

Reasons I should Sabotage Myself
I like the taste of chocolate too much for my own good
I'm starting to get lazy

It's all a bit of a no brainer really, isn't it?

Good luck everyone with this weeks weigh ins!!:D

this is brilliant...and a great idea to type up and print out...daily motivation is exactly what i need...i always feel like this on Wednesdays after meeting and its gone by the next morning. thanks for your words of wisdom :-):-)

I haven't been to meetings in quite a few weeks and I am going on hols in 2 weeks so haven't bothered going back. I have decided I am not going to rejoin when I get back but to try and do it on my own. But like you, I love the weekly weigh in, the silver sevens and stones. So I am going to see if I can get the 7 stickers and stones anywhere and get my husband to weigh me every week and will give him the stickers and stones and get him to give them to me when I earn them :)

I do it at home and I find its important to include someone else as it makes you feel accountable! Instead of stickers and stones you could allow yourself a little treat like a new bottle of nail varnish or something like that. Once I get back to my previous low, I'm allowing myself to get this gorgeous dress I've had my eye on!

I STS today which I'm ok with as I acted like it was my TOTM last week. Not overly bad but just going over by a few points everyday! Looking forward to the next week. I've a big night out Fri week so want to lose a few lbs by then :)

Have my WI tomorrow. Been so good all week - have 18 weeklies left and considering I had my TOTM that is pretty good going for me. I am a little worried as I usually STS or gain the week after my TOTM - but I have usually used every single weekly so hoping for something to show this week. Esp after my holiday gain last week!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend and best of luck with the WI's

So first day done, stuff my face but weighed and measured everything which is hard but felt satisfied after eating. Usually feel bloaty and stuffed as my mouth has no off switch when there is food near me.

I bought Lovely little note book n pink girly pens so my food diary all pretty. I'm still not sure have I too use all my daily point as I only used 24 today

Hi guys, I'm on WW again since yesterday - hoping to actually be able to keep it up this time:o

In relation to activity points - what can be classified as high intensity exercise? For instance, I am going to the gym for an hour after work and will do 50 minutes cardio and about 10/15 weight machines - would this be seen as intense?:o

I would count high intensity exercise as jogging or an intense exercise class like Zumba or Aerobics. I would count weights/strength training as low intensity and cycling on an exercise bike or brisk walking on a treadmill as medium intensity. Oh and I would count the cross trainer as high intensity.

Cool thanks a mil - yeah I was thinking that the treadmill might be medium intensity alright since I don't do much running on it but the cross trainer is fairly tough! So I will go with medium overall I think :)

Well, am glad the summer is over because I weighed in this morning and am a grand total of one pound less than the start of the summer! Annoying because I have been up and down so much the last few months. Am considering trying it at home as some of you have been saying, and ye seem to be doing so well. I just can't afford the meetings, and my meeting is very big and impersonal. Have a good weighing scales so am going to give it a go for a couple of weeks and see if I can drop a few pounds!

Motivation has all but gone out the window the last week or so, don't know why. Am trying to focus on why I joined ww in the first place. Am also thinking about Halloween as a short term goal, and Christmas after that. If it doesn't sound too weird, I'm almost worried/afraid I won't achieve my goals, but its up to me, I can do it if I really want to! Great reading all the advice, recipes and stories on here :)

I'm in the exact same boat. I'm a couple of pounds heavier than I was at the start of the summer. Went back to work a month ago after maternity leave, and I'm half a stone heavier now than then. I'm disgusted with myself, but I can't seem to knuckle down. Have been a small bit Better the past wk, but by no means exemplary. I too have been trying to focus on my original goals. I'm starting to think ill have to have another baby and have another maternity leave where I've got plenty time to exercise!!

Right there with ye guys... I joined last December and got to my goal weight in July just before I headed off on holidays, however I decided to go that little bit further (silly) and drop my goal two more pounds. To cut a long story short (and after 2 holidays) I'm way back at least a half stone heavier (im too annoyed to figure out exact figures) than my original goal weight. I was just getting into the swing of things again when I got sick and had to be put on a course of antibiotics and to my complete shock (after a great week) put on 5 and a half pounds. Since that I've been kept in and released from hospital (last week) for a surgical procedure. What should have been a loss on the scales last night from a false gain the week before, was a sts from my bad week in hospital. I cant exercise for at least a month which is killing me so I've started off today with the hope of having an extra good week... Never saw it being this hard, but we'll get there I guess, just a bit of an annoying setback... :(

At least you've a reasonable excuse! I'm just one of the fallen ones. I'm actually starting to annoy myself with the amount of times I've said "I'll start again tomorrow". I think one of my problems is that I got into the habit of going over my pp the odd day, and could get away with it when I was breastfeeding (great way of burning a few extra calories). Now I'm not bfeeding, so I need to stick to the plan by the letter.
Can we get there?? Yes we can!

I've an excuse for the last 2 weeks but not for the 3/4 weeks before that which is when I started falling off the wagon! I wish I didn't like my food so much, especially sweet food, its my downfall! Keep checking and posting in here, it might help keep u motivated :)

Girls, I am right there with you. Except it's a few months (or a bit more) for you guys, it's over a year for me. I started in November 2010 with over 8 stone to lose. I lost almost 4 stone in 8 months. Then I had my wedding last August and it all spiraled downhill from there. Up's and downs and STS. By January this year, I had gained 16lb of the weight I had lost. Continued to arse around but then started losing again when I joined a gym. Lost 10lb in 6 weeks. Then I moved apartment and I don't know what came over me in the preceding weeks but I have completely gone back to my old ways (pre-weightwatchers). I think I have gained about 8lb in the last 5 weeks, don't know precisely as I have not returned to meetings.

One thing I would say to ya's, please don't leave it another day, another week, until you have realised a whole year has passed you by. I fully regret wasting this whole year (WW wise) and am so disappointed in myself. I am going on holidays in 2 weeks and to think I could have been lovely and slim if I had of put the work in is upsetting. I am so annoyed at the time I have wasted. When I come back from holidays, I am going to join the local gym which is right next door to my apartment :) So if that isn't motivation, I don't know what is.

Girls, you can do it. Don't start tomorrow. Start now. Good luck :)

Will be hard at weekend for me but I need to do this as birthday in 6 weeks so would like to lose 6-10lbs will revise nearer time. Not long to Xmas and hopefully I'll be under 10st which means I need to lose 18lbs

Lost 1.5 tonight. Am delighted cos the most I have ever lost the week after my TOTM is half a pound - so gonna be as good this week and hope for something similar next week!! I need 3lbs to get me into the 10's so would love that by october - a bit ambitious but I'm going for it!

Did okay food wise for my first week up until we had a family bereavement on Friday morning and the whole lot went out the window. He was a lovely man and was very encouraging about my weightwatchers journey - even though I spent the past few days upset, he is really in a better place now after suffering for so long and I didn't want to use his death as an excuse to binge, so I got back tracking today and stuck to my daily PP. Ok, I went 6 over, I just felt like I needed a (large) drink!

I'm 2lbs down this week, which is a lot more than I would have hoped for given the circumstances.

On to a lighter note, has anyone tried the cauliflower pizza base? I saw it on Carolanneskitchen.com, might try it tomorrow. If I use passata and veggie toppings I can have a pizza-esque thing for 0pp!
