thanks also can anyone recommend a good texture pack for this? after being used to 32 bit textures on vanilla MC the plain textures dont look so good

Tekkit Texture Pack

Guys i've uploaded the 128 Bit version of my Shpax texture pack, it includes the changes for industrial craft, build craft etc

Place the zip file in AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\tekkit\texturepacks

If your computer isn't the best i suggest the 64Bit, here's a quick tutorial explaining how to set it up

I get this a few times myself. Just kept trying and worked after 3 or 4 attempts
