Mario Bros. Wii U is rock hard.

    Much tougher than Dark Souls.

It's a bit unforgiving if you're trying to get all the stars alright.

I don't bother with any of that though... waste of my time for no reason.

For anyone interested in an Ouya, you may wanna hold off. It seems Google are soon gonna weigh-in proper on the console-market.

I'm headed to the States in a few weeks and was half considering bringing back a Ouya, Whats the consensus? Worth it? power or display issues?

Just finished 4 days of hardcore coding writing an AI pathfinding routine on a hex grid from scratch. Finally squashed the last bug last night. I need sleep :(

It kind of makes me appreciate how much goes into even simple enemy movement and AI that people take for granted.

I know the feeling !! Everything always looks easy till you lift the lid and try to figure out how things actually work :D

Yup. It's a tonne of really complex code and all it really does is find the optimal route to the position you click on the screen. Makes me wonder how they managed it in strategy RPGs like Shining Force and Tactics Ogre on the 16 bits or even the NES Fire Emblems!

I'm serious, found myself wanting to throw the controller across the room a lot more in Mario than in Dark Souls.

There is some stinkers in it all right.
It seemed a lot of the challenge, to me at least, in SMW was in finding the various secrets while the main path through the game was never terribly hard but rather long with tons of great levels to play through.
The basic path through NSMBWiiU is quite frustrating at times.

Also, just wanted to post this, not sure if someone has done so already, my son and I are fans

I finished SMW with Sera not to long ago and by the end it really isn't easy at all!

I think Nintendo saw the success of the rock hard DCKR and aren't afraid now to make Mario too easy. I loved NSMB Wii but it was a bit of a cakewalk at times.

So, what then, did they think "Hmm, NSMBWiiU is very hard, lets make dlc around Luigi and make it even harder!!"
Still, have it ordered, have to wait til the end of July...

You will all be very excited to hear that there's a 60Hz mod for the CDi:

Don't all rush out and buy one, you'll only drive the price up on this lovely console.

It's a crime that we never got to see a Sega racing compilation, I never got to play enough Scud Race.
I think one of it's tracks is an unlockable in something, is it one of the Outrun 2 home versions or perhaps Daytona on the DC? I know I saw it somewhere.

At no point did I suggest you were having sexual relations with a cat.
Plus, I thought it was bad form to use Facebook comments against members here, unless the member is Retr0, in which case it's fine.
I may have suggested the cat was in crisis though, and that's a serious matter....
