My 3 month ordeal to find a copy of Fire Emblem is over. A seller from Hong Kong has delivered. I can rest easy.

Should have just got an EU 3DS like the rest of us and gotten a copy weeks ago :p

Superb game though, and a good solid challenge.

It's hard enough to get a copy here too. Only managed to get it myself today.

Not trading in Halo 4 just yet, I see Spartan Ops can be played by a billy no mates like me, so at least I have some more to play, tailored to multiplayer but with can also be played with folk with zero social skills like me.

Sure, I'd only wind up buying it again in a month!

Halo 4? I've a nice bonfire out my back garden if you can't find any other use for it.

Although I've a feeling the flames may recoil in horror and refuse to burn it out of disgust. :pac:

    Did you play it?
It's quite good, more Reach than Halo 3, very enjoyable if too short.
But at least it's another game finished, next up, Bioshock Infinite!

I played it for about 20 minutes. Then realized it was exactly the same as every other Halo game I've ever played so put it back in the box :D

But Halo is a dynamic sandbox game with circular level design!

Halo Reach has far more competent gameplay than Bioshock Infinite.

Just hate it when games just throw monotonous waves of guys at you before you get to move on to the next bit. Always felt like you were moving forward in Reach.

Playing a bit of Sonic CD here. What an odd game. I don't think I have a clue what's going on.

Similar reaction first time I played, then figured out the time-travel bit. Well, whatever there was to figure out; the changes to stages seems to be minimal, beyond the odd platform and the backdrop. Have you gotten to Wacky Workbench? It's like trying to play ping-pong on a full bouncy-castle.

    Too. Much. Bouncing.....

Just playing that level now... My head hurts!

First time I played reach, at launch, I thought it was the best shooter ever. Went back and played a few weeks ago, don't like it at all.

That wasn't a bad game. One or two cool levels in it (Stardust Speedway for example), but it's short and not a while lot happened. I don't think I'll be in a mad rush to replay it.

    I ****in love Earthbound!!!

It's really smart when you run into a pesky attack slug every two minutes, oh wait, no it's not! Bam! Won fight without even fighting, love it.
    Some nice writing as well.
Favourite bit so far, fighting the Onett police force! Seriously though that town has a serious wild dog problem.
Packs of stray dogs that control most of the major cities. That's packs of wild, vicious dogs that are controlling most of

It's a bit annoying when Bioshock throws an arbitrary number of vulnerable enemies at you before you're allowed go throw a door, a door that's right over there.
    Padding, that's all it is.
At least Halo 4 let's you bypass whole sections, assuming you are canny enough to slip by.
Thing is there's no artificial limits on your progress.
Anyway, I more playing Bioshock for the interesting take on a steampunk universe and the things it does with alternate universes, aside from medipacks and freight hooks.
    They are both beautiful though.
Once I have Bioshock done I'll get into Spec Ops.

Yep. I enjoyed Bioshock Inifinite a lot, but all too often actually playing it felt like a huge chore. The Handy Men were particularly tiresome, just big bullet sponges.

I see they're not bringing Madden 14 to the WiiU, that must concern Nintendo a little bit.
There's been a few cancellations on the format now.
I hope the system gets a few third party must have titles soon, I know we are blessed to have the range of Ninty developed titles incoming but it's just not enough.
    Why not Cod Ghost?
Even the 3ds is getting a version!

I totally forgot that I had won a sit down racing seat a few years ago, was sitting there in my wardrobe unopened the entire time.

Just busted it out and it's compatible with everything, Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PC.

Hooked it up to my server there and was just playing emulated AM2 games on it. Ahh... bliss. I can see this thing getting alot of use in future.

I'd bring it to one of the beers but there'd have to be room for it!

    It's one of these:

Now to find a PS2 to Dreamcast adapter and I'll be laughing...

I was goin to ask you how much are they cause I can't see the price on the site but you know what, I really don't want to know. It's just better that way.

Looks savage btw, not jealous at all.

I would have thought that 'Murica is one of Ninty's smaller markets

I think it was around €80 at the time, I don't think they're in production anymore.

I actually have two of them, the first one that I had had some kind of flaw in it that meant that they latch on the stand holding the steering wheel broke off really easilly, emailed the company I won it from chancing my arm and they sent out a replacement completely free of charge. Good guy BigBen Interactive.

Incidentally I knew I had heard their name before when I won the thing... it just came back to me there now again. BigBen Interactive were the crowd that were in charge of Dreamcast game publication and production in the last year or so of the Dreamcast's life.

I'll bring it with me next time to one of the beers, should be a good laugh! It's not as portable as it makes out though... you'd think there'd be a place in the seat somewhere when it folds up for the pedals but... nope!

    Nothing a backpack can't sort out. ;-)

    Sunday!
My day off but the wife has gone out to work and decided to chit chat while she got ready, so now I'm up :(

But, with that in mind, there is the Sunday market to be thinking of!
I'm salting away money for the Vita but a little retrogaming raid might be just the ticket.
Results are, sadly, variable with previous outings producing bugger all but sometimes one strikes gold, in a 16 bit sense.
Been a number of months too so might take a wander.
If I find a boxed Neo Geo AES the Vita will have to wait!

Much as I'd like to go and get some GBA games today, spending £220 on Wii U and stuff yesterday is stopping me.

Why in earth did you do that?
What did you buy it to play?
I have mine since the month after launch and I've barely found reason to turn it on.
