I've never had contact with turtles and don't really like cats, they're nice to look at but I'd never own one

But like you mind them and then they might eat you when you're dead, they're not really grateful :P and don't like them going on counter tops either.

My ex bff's Persian Willow was the only cat I really liked, it thought it was a dog ... but it was kinda obsessed with me ... he followed me everywhere around the house. If I slept in the attic he waited for me all night crying at the end of the ladder (why he didn't go up, dunno) and if I was upstairs, he'd go onto the bed and sit on chest and start purring all night looking into my face. Whenever I left the house he'd cry for ages (could hear it at the gate) and not eat his food for like a day.

Consider me in the same league as Cidey, I'm old & set in my ways :o I didn't think a bff could be relegated to an ex-bff, thus making the bff thing somewhat pointless as its potentially not forever? Bah humbug et all :D

We had a cat who was really a dog as well. Ben Benison Benson. He ate a jumper and sadly died due to persistent misdiagnosis by vets.

Was it a cake jumper? (sorry!)
That's a pity though about the vet, did you ever know what happened? >:

The third vet we both him to figured it out but was way too lwte to help and he was but to sleep.
He actually did eat a section, a sizeable piece, of a wolly jumper. We had to put him on a fast for when he was getting neutered and he ate it that night the lunatic.
Ah he was pure mad. We couldnt feed him with the other cats as he would gobble his food and get sick. He had to have his own room to eat and if I left him in for like two minutes after he ate he would poo in retaliation.
He ate a whole cooked chicken once, stole it off the kitchen counter.
    Got stuck in the chimney.
Would run after cars up the middle of the road.
He was a pure mental kitten ane had the stupidest mug ever seen on a feline.
Thats enough cat talk, for now.
    :D

Well, the very nature of gaming is that we are always with it, and as for retrogaming, we agree that old games were just as infused with "it" as new ones, sometimes more so!
So, enjoy your Dishonoured, but save some room for some Gunstar later on!

Thinking of getting a gamecube mainly for the gameboy advance adapter, should I pick up a NTSC one?

No real point really. With the freeloader disc your machine is region free and nearly all PAL games have 60 Hz modes.

You would probably pick up a NTSC cheaper than a PAL one. As Retro said the region free disk will sort out compatibility issues you may have. The prices of boxed ones have been increasing and buying a US one may be a cheaper option.

it's been brought to my attention that you can get a port of the original Metroid on on the GBA. I must acquire this. For all my sins, I've never really played a Metroid game. I remember jamming on one waaay back on my Gameboy as a kid, but that's it. I've had Super Metroid on SNES for years, but I've never gotten around to playing it.

There's also a remake on the GBA called Zero Mission. It's very good and probably a lot more accessible than the original version.
