"The Legend of Dragoon is the best game ever. If you are one of the people that think this you are a very bad person"
=> So you can tell if someone's bad or not based on the fact that they like a game? Well THAT makes you a moron, sir.
You didn't even tried to be a little objective here, you just summed up the game's weaknesses, that's all.
Legend of Dragoon is at least a good game and one of the greatest RPGs of the PSOne, there's nothing to add here, you can say that you don't like it/hate it but why trying so hard to prevent people from buying this wonderful game?
Sorry dude, but if it has a solid fanbase and was praised for its original battle system, awesome story/background and general epicness, it's entirely justified, if anything, YOU have a pretty poor taste in games.
I don't really care about your answer/lack of answer, I have nothing else to do here, if I wanna see **** like this, I might as well read Twilight.
    Have a nice day.

Unfortunately it's become the most popular post on my blog which means it's only going to get worse.

Well, tbh, you are doing a spot of trolling with the posting of your opinion on the most generally epic of games!
I man I do think you get a thrill, perhaps with a hint of arousal, when some numpty gets upset at your musings on Dragoon.

I do like to see them struggle with language in the replies though, trying to come up with bigger superlatives to express their love of the game before coming to the inevitable realisation that it is in fact YOU with no taste, priceless.
All they have is say is "I respect your opinion but I disagree and really like * insert game here*", but they don't.
Be glad there is a more mature bunch here, in the A&R forum!

That's a shame about your Vecflash. Just passed my own Vecmulti on to Enternow - that's me out of the veccy game for good :(

It was a fun year or two. I shall miss having vector lines burned into my retinas.

    Why the no Veccy?
I meant to say Atavan or Sera, apologies, it must be your relative youth and my old person perspective that born in a decade after me is therefore a child, my bad :(

The Vecflash is fine, reflashed it back to life.
I do see how limited the old device is though, might invest in the newer Vecmulti at some point.

Their failure to grasp the intricacies of the english language says a lot about them.

Since the release of 50 Shades of Grey, Twilight is now regarded as the second worst example of writing. The commenter on your blog is saying your writing isn't the best but also admits that it's not the worst. Take something positive from that.

I'm just starting it, it's a bit on the hefty side (aren't all of his books?) and can be a bit of a tough read in places. So far so good though...

The sooner the 50 Shades of Grey phase is replaced by the Infinite Jest phase the better!

    It broked :(

Image is collapsed into the top right corner. Enternow was nice enough to try installing a cap kit and a couple of other tricks but unfortunately still no joy.

As much as I loved the buzzy little fecker, getting a new one is too much of a pain. Especially with them being so fragile. Don't want to risk another one breaking.

Anyway, expect to see it up for trade soon. I remember someone on here needed a replacement casing, might be of some use.

You know the way some gamers like playing JRPGs to test an improve their Japanese comprehension skills? That's not a cultural one-way-street.

:O you mean that something that started as Twlight fan fiction is worse than Twilight! I'm shocked by this revelation.

Judging by the comments I assumed he had stadium events up for €15?

Nothing wrong with that as the pal version isn't rare at all, it's only the American version.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,328 ✭✭✭Pyongyang

Depends, does the guy actually have it to list separately?

Needs to be complete with the floor mat too to be a big jackpot prize. The PAL release is dirt cheap anyway isn't it? Or is the PAL version a re-brand? I forget, but there's a cheap, common version of Stadium Events available anyway.

    There's a guide here: http://classicgames.about.com/od/consoleandhandheldgames/ss/StadiumEvents_HistoryandID_4.htm

If the pic is legit, it's an NTSC copy, and therefore potentially worth many thousands of euro. It would be some find if so. But could it possibly have ended up in Ireland without the owner even knowing its worth?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,798 ✭✭✭Jack burton

its a pi$$ take, same guy had Air Raid for atari up the other day

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,183 ✭✭✭✭Atavan-Halen

It's a bit unlikely that a copy arrived in Ireland without someone knowing what it was worth. Then again you never know or it could just be a pic taken from somewhere.

    Posted in 2010.

    Piss-take.

Without trying to sound cynical, it's adverts, it was always going to be a piss take

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,750 ✭✭✭ghostchant

PAL version is still worth a couple hundred euro in good condition, so while worthless with respect to it's American sibling, it's still pricy in it's own right, Radiant Silvergun territory at least :)

With regard to the seller, I've bought off him before and had a good experience. This was obviously him just messing but wouldn't have a problem dealing with him again in the future.

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 53,294 CMod ✭✭✭✭Retr0gamer

It only went up to that price because of the furore over the 40,000 dollar sale of the NTSC version recently. It was worth chump change before that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,750 ✭✭✭ghostchant

Of course, but one way or another most other expensive games have artificially high prices too, I mean Radiant Silvergun is far from a rarity either.

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 53,294 CMod ✭✭✭✭Retr0gamer

Radiant Silvergun at least has demand. Stadium Sports PAL has no demand. It's just scammers online inflating the price.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,328 ✭✭✭Pyongyang

A more accurate comparison would be that any Darius game has more demand than Salmonhamburger. :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,750 ✭✭✭ghostchant

Yep, but there are people knowingly shelling out considerable cash for the pal version all the same. Was only released in Germany and Sweden according to wiki, but I think it's a little off on the actual worth since it's saying pristine copies go for upwards of a thousand. Hundreds are what I've heard everywhere else.

    Well, it had to happen.
A non technical friend bought a new 3DS XLMNOPQRSTUV for there kid or little cousin or something and the kid was very excited indeed until on opening the box they discovered that there was no power supply.

Not a very happy child and the psu is €17.99 in gamestop.
