My waxing costs 35 for everything gone. And it's not a dodgy back door place :)

Is that with lycon SB? Or is it just the strip wax?

The €60 I mentioned is from a place that just does waxing. The last time I went for a hollywood in a general beauty salon the pain was horrific the first time and she missed loads of bits. Lots of ingrown hairs too. It still cost €50! I'm sure that is the exception though.

There is a place nearby that does it for €35....hmmm.

    Depileve (hot peeable wax)

I wouldn't let anyone touch me with strip wax. And I wouldn't go to a place that used strip wax for bikini lines either.

Is strip wax the one that's hot and melted on and then ripped off
    Or is that "peelable"

Strip is what they remove with the strip that's pressed onto your skin and pulled off.

I've had hollywood's done with the strip before and it's been fine. That said,
Much prefer the lycon waxing (which just peels off)

Update - I had my brazilian done in brazillia, didn't get the no scream cream I'm the end. It was grand. Can honestly say there were only a couple of bits that hurt. Way way way less painful than the strip wax ones I've had before and she didn't miss a thing. Very happy with it! Their maintenance price is 40 euro which is really good. I'll be going back :)

Glad it worked out for you! What do you mean by maintenance price Cloud_Dancer? Do they charge less if you get it done within a certain timeframe?

Yeah if you re-book within 4 weeks it's 40. The difference with the lycon is unbelievable. I also bought a lycon exfoliator for ingrown hairs so I'll update on that. I would be fairly prone to them.

Some people react to their hair removal cream! I avoid them.

Went to Brazilia last night, have been going there a while now, almost a year I'd say. Went to pay and was told I had racked up 500 points and was handed a €50 voucher for next time \o/

Delighted with that. Didn't even realise they had a loyalty system so it was a great surprise, and I wouldn't go anywhere else but there now (well, waxperts in DunLaoghaire if I could ever get an appointment :().

Just thought ye might be interested!

I got a €50 loyalty voucher too and a €30 Shellac voucher. I was delighted. I've been using Brazilia roughly once a month for nearly two years now, even had some laser hair removal with them. Love them and can't recommend them enough :)

Have they a place in Sandyford Whoopsadaisydoodles? I love Waxperts but I am usually looking for appointments at short notice. I have only not been able to get one there once but it might be good to have somewhere else local as a backup!

I think there is a Brazilia in Sandyford coz one of the girls who waxed me said she transferred from there. Not sure if it was a different salon though, try google? It may be Urban Wax that are in Sandyford.

Wow, I wonder how many sessions you had to get that. I went to Brazilia for years when I lived in Dublin. Now I live in Sligo, where nowhere does proper specialised waxing :(
