Would have looked better with just the two facing off. The extra image of each guy is just pointless.

I'm guessing the Wednesday to Friday thing is purely down to already having the taping planned and then deciding to do it live instead.

TNA's plan for Mike Tenay going forward:

IMPACT WRESTLING BECOMES “UNLOCKED” WITH BRAND NEW TELEVISION SERIES

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 16, 2014) – TNA Entertainment will deliver a new concept in professional wrestling with the premiere of IMPACT WRESTLING: UNLOCKED, Saturday, January 17 at 10/9c on Destination America. This new weekly series hosted by “The Professor” Mike Tenay will dive deeper into the most recent episode of IMPACT WRESTLING with exclusive content and never-before-seen footage.

During IMPACT WRESTLING: UNLOCKED viewers will get an enhanced experience as the screen comes alive with match facts and stats, as well as bonus commentary and exclusive footage taking fans deeper into the intriguing characters, captivating stories and fascinating personal lives of the TNA Superstars.

“Fans are constantly asking me what goes on behind the scenes,” said Tenay. “The appetite is strong for interesting factoids and an insider’s perspective. We will explore everything from why World Champion Bobby Roode uses his Roode Bomb finisher to how Taryn Terrell uses her stuntwoman background when defending her Knockouts title. IMPACT WRESTLING: UNLOCKED will offer a distinctive and stimulating viewing experience unmatched in professional sports.”

In addition, each week during IMPACT WRESTLING: UNLOCKED, Tenay will reveal the IMPACT WRESTLING Top 5, a power ranking of the top five heavyweights in TNA. This new ranking system is sure to spark controversy, debate, and most importantly, competition.

IMPACT WRESTLING debuts on Destination America with a special LIVE broadcast on Wednesday, January 7 from 9-11 PM ET, televised from New York City’s legendary Manhattan Center. IMPACT WRESTLING will move to its permanent time slot on Fridays from 9-11 PM ET beginning January 16 on Destination America.

Sounds like the last few months of WCW Worldwide.

Apparently TNA's big plan to make a big Indian superstar is to make him a subservient lackey heel:

That looked more like a ritual, as opposed to coercion. He referred to him as brother as well there.

He was kidnapped by Storm a couple of weeks ago.

Is this their delayed reaction to The Wyatt Family? The music in the background is quar bad there.

    Nah, Storm actually recruits people.

My only real issue with it is Storm changed almost overnight. He should have went missing for a while (small roster likely prevented that though) before debuting such a different gimmick.

After the longest period in the history of the company without first run TV iMPACT! returns tonight on Destination America with the third Bobby Roode/Bobby Lashley match.

The main event is just so stupid on so many levels. Do they lack self awareness that much?

So I take it that they haven't relaunched themselves with much success last night?

The opening to the show was absolutely terrible.

I thought the video was neat but yeah them gathering in two packs on the side of the road like they were a Broadway show about to burst into a musical number was just silly.

So turns for the sake of turns?

Hope going forward they do something about the sound so they're not dipping to cut out swearing.

And what was with the camera work when JB slapped EC3? Zoomed in on the mikes in their hands?

Wonder if WWE wanted Kong back.

TNA are returning to the iMPACT! Zone for a bunch of One Night Only tapings in February and iMPACT! tapings in March and April.

I've enjoyed the majority of the shows so far. Hated the EY turn until it was explained the next week. Thought they had forgotten MVP essentially cost Young the title a few months ago. Not thrilled about Roode dropping the title so quickly though. They should have let him run with it for a couple of months to establish the BDC (awful name) a little before they take the title by force. The Lashley turn kind of came from nowhere. Seemed like it was very rushed for some reason.

Enjoyed Feast or Fired too as the majority were middle or lower card guys who would deem it worth the risk. Aries was the obvious exception but him knowing how good he is have the impression that even if he was fired, he would easily find work again so why not. Speaking of Aries, another pointless title switch. Robbie giving Velvet the case was obvious though.

Some of the camera work has been dreadful but hopefully that is something that improves with time. Still not sold on Taz and Matthews though. They sounded like they were reading a script for Kong's return. The ratings drop had to be tough to take but at least they are gaining every week. A big gain last week too. Getting even close to the Spike viewership would be some going considering the size of the network.

The UK shows tend to be quite good for the most part so that's something to look forward to. Overall, I think they are at least moving in the right direction, albeit slowly.

Why is Jeff Hardy always stuck in tag team action? Surely as big a name and as popular a wrestler as Hardy is, he should be in the main event scene?
