A couple of random thoughts:

The stipulation for the Bully vs Sabin match should have been no more title matches against Sabin. The no title match ever makes it very unlikely that Sabin retains.

Tito was a blatent last minute addition. He is just there until they find something for him to do. Its obvious they had nothing in mind for him. Also funny that Angle more or less repeated his Rampage speech.

Storm's Superkick always looks vicious.

Shame Mickie got so little time this week.

X-Division wasnt even mentioned following a very good showing for Manik last week. Hopefully it is just because of the BFGS taking up so much time each week.

The Fortune partial reunion is interesting. Stables can work very well for those involved if they arent trying to take over the company.

For next week, that ladder match has the potential to be a long overdue MOTYC for TNA. They havent had much off the top of my head.

Which is a cop-out, considering the 22/8 episode is gonna be taped immediately after the 15/8 Hardcore Justice (that name still sounds iffy) show. It's just a case of leaving a pop for the second show.

I was thinking the same. I assume it's because of Angle being in rehab so he is no available for the show. But if it is being taped on the same night, they still have the same problem.

Doubt the crowd will Pop for James Storm or someone like that.
I hope it ain't Angle or he'll of treated that rehab like a vacation.

Sorry I don't watch alot of TNA but this card seems pretty strong. What nights are the P.P.Vs shown here in Ireland?

iMPACT! is on Sundays at 9 on Challenge.

Despite the fact that TNA iMPACT! Wrestling announced that they are moving the five-on-five Main Event Mafia vs. Aces & 8′s match until the August 22nd edition of iMPACT! Wrestling on Spike TV, as opposed to the live Hardcore Justice edition of iMPACT! Wrestling this week, Kurt Angle is not expected to be involved in the match.

Angle is still in rehab at this point, and according to sources, is not expected back in TNA anytime in the near future

Could they do 4 on 5?

Any guesses as to the storyline to explain his absence?
Maybe it'll tie into the time he was kidnapped and taken away for part of the show since they seemed to be implying something happened while he was away.
Or maybe they just filmed a quick backstage beatdown before he checked into rehab.

5 vs 4 would be the best way to go. Have Aces and Eights claim to have taken Angle out like they did with Alex Silva a few months back.

Or, do the above and have the Mafia take out one of the Aces and Eights on the night to make it 4 vs 4.

That finish was so obvious, I was hoping they wouldnt do it.

Bully never getting another title shot if he lost made it 99% sure he was winning. When the ref went down, it became 100%. With how it happened, Sabin is getting a rematch and I wouldnt be surprised if he won the title back again.

Speaking of obvious, Rampage calling out Ortiz. Who the hell else was it going to be? Ortiz is the only guy he knows. Hope the Mafia just go with 4 vs 5 now.

What happened with the Knockouts? Was it not advertised as Gail/Mickie vs ODB/Velvet?
