    that was an odd yet welcome bug was crawling around town with 600 blood for hours trying to find food or a animal to eat logged out to find a hospital for a blood bag so i could come on here to beg for a transfusion logged back in and have 12000 blood :pac:

    I don't have much faith in Battleeye. Banning people simply for having a weapon they picked up isn't fair. There are weapons on the DayZ wiki I have never seen in-game yet, and if I saw them before seeing the wiki, I would have assumed they were spawned in via cheats.

    This happened last night too, when the cheaters were all supposedly global banned the day before. Unless the crates were there before the banning.

    Like I said earlier I think it was me with the .50cal previously, and before I'd picked it up I'd never seen one before, I don't follow the wiki nor have I ever played vanilla arma2. As far as I know the crates were only there from this morning, we didn't see them last night.

    VEHICLE UPDATE (database side): 2012-06-16
    Changelog 2012-06-16:
    All vehicles locations will be reset after server restarts. This is required to implement respawning.
    * [FIXED] All land and water vehicles will now spawn in a repairable state .
    * [NEW] Vehicles can now be tracked on database level, they will respawn or be reset at secret intervals once they have been destroyed.
    * [NEW] Vehicles left unused too long (hidden, placed in unreachable locations, bugged) will be reset after a minimum of 7 days - this exact time of respawn is also secret.
    * [NEW] Vehicles are spawned on all new servers.

    Future implementation:
    Vehicle models will be mixed up (randomized) a little depending on which type of vehicle that can spawn at a certain area. This means some vehicle models might become rarer.

    Known issues:
    Aircrafts are still very dangerous to fly due to desync.
    Aircrafts will only be available on some very old servers until this issue is fixed. Your safety as a pilot or passanger is NOT guaranteed. (hopefully fixed with release of 1.7.1, need more testing)

    Note to server admins:
    Serverside recommendation: Please update your arma2 server version to latest beta in preparation for 1.7.1 release.
    Also make sure your battleeye files are up to date or players will have troubles playing on your server if their client version is later than 93825.

    Ahh ok. I don't think it will make too much of a difference. People know that you have to kill in self defence, and generally if someone wants to kill someone else then they will do it regardless of their humanity. It would just give the more morally conscience player the benefit of knowing if they decide on killing that player that their own humanity won't be compromised id imagine. Basically exchanging the old 'survivor' and 'bandit' skins of previous versions and wrapping it up into a more passive and 'Immersive' feature

    The Crossbow ironsight is frankly woeful, you're almost better and more accurate firing from the hip. If the server has the Crosshairs then shoot from the hip instead of the Ironsight

    if you see a crate that shouldnt be their or wasnt their dont touch it!
    ive seen posts where people have been banned for taking weapons from them.

    also some cases of hackers nuking the players in some servers in responce to the big bannings that happend,

    Brilliant, now I'm suspicious of all my good gear. I found a silenced M9 on someones body and I hadn't found that before, no idea if its come from one of those crates or not now... BALLS!

    In fairness, it would seem excessively harsh for a GUID ban if its as easy a thing to do as pick up from someones body.

    The M9 SD is on the list. So, unless they have a specific ID for the DayZ M9 Vs. the Arma2 M9, you should be fine... I would think...

    I only go near the airfield when I have to, too much of a risk to go back without any need to. Wont be back there for a few days, unless I end up in some serious fire fights and need to replenish ammo

    Anyone else finding the zombies a giant annoyance now ? you cant crouch walk with in 20 meters of them now with out half a dozen running you down they see you through walls hit you through walls and phase through walls really starting to piss me off

    The update hasn't been released yet. That will stop the zombie wall hacking, but will increase their LOS, so I don't know how that is going to pan out gameplay-wise.

    Infected Behavior

    - Infected can no longer see/attack through walls.
    - Entirely new mocap'd attack and running animations

    Honestly I don't get this at all.
    I do think however that they are more sensitive to walking on roads, so crawl across them. They do seem to be direction sensitive, so you can get much closer to one walking away than towards you.

    When I joined a server earlier it reverted to a character I had about two weeks ago for some reason. Not complaining though as I was well equipped.

    Every time I heard the flies today and went to investigate, there was never a body too which seemed a little strange too.

    If the admin is reading this: my character (Mossferatu) just fell through a building, sort of stuck inside now, trying to find my way out.-- I'm not wall-hacking/glitching on purpose.

    Press V and if that doesnt work go prone and roll out with Q E

    if that doesnt work, kill yourself.
