    Good munster jct teams???
Castletroy are meant to be good this year i believe. Junior much more difficult to predict than senior as at senior level you can look to how schools did at junior level and how many each school had on the interpro sides.
Ard Scoil have lost the last 2 finals so this year could be their year to get the trophy

Irish management probably want to look at 40 or so players before they cut the squad for the training camps in january and the games in march/april. The 18s schools can play the youths while the 20s are playing provincial development squads so who can the 19s play??

Munster Senior Cup final qualifier game between Bandon Grammer and Midleton College is due to be played january 9th in PBC Corks ground in Wilton.

Which would be easier to make munster u18 schools or clubs???....they might both be good but higher standard

not trying to sound disparaging but munster clubs would be an easier team to make, much more players going for the schools team and coming from a higher standard of rugby

Dont really know. To make the youths you generally have to be starring at 15s/17s and get picked for your regions u17 side, perform well on that side to get picked for the provincial side while to make the munster schools side you have to make your school side at junior cup, play bowen shield, do well on that side maybe make your senior cup team and get selected for munster then.
Both are equal enough thesedays. Munster schools side regularly have several players each september that were youths until shortly before the interpros
There would be more players going for the youths side.

Would clubs get the same perks as schools like gear ,facilities coaches?

    At provincial level yes.
Some clubs get same perks in terms of gear but many dont. All schools would have 4/5 coaches, players on gym programmes etc that clubs wouldnt really have.

Hagz included them in the 19.
Both youths and schools squads are in camp on the 2nd and 3rd january in limerick/cork and then the schools are off until march.

There were late pullouts by McCarthy and Brewer. Don't know who replacements, if any, were.

Id seen it on an excel file of all irish 18s/19s/20s training camps, games back in september but this obv could have changed since then.
Not exactly another camp. Game today, 2 days off for new years eve/new years day and then back in for another 2 days of training

Sounds like a very one sided game,
I think the youths might struggle at fira this year.

I think it's a very talented group of schools players. The Leinster schools team coasted through the inter-pros.

Very true, pity the schools are not in fira in 2013 they could have potentially won the competition!

Dont think they will. Its a very strong schools side this year totally backboned by a Leinster side that totally dominated the schools interpros.

Delighted the schools are not in the FIRA. The youths side should never have been out of the FIRA in the first place.

Why are you "delighted" the schools are not in fira? Very biased opinion I think.

I'd imagine it's because the Youths would probably benefit more from the exposure and experience.
